This coffee is dark roast as it states in the description. It has a wonderful freshly ground aroma when you open the bag. Even better when it's brewing. I usually buy the whole bean coffee and grind them myself, but this is definitely comparable to fresh ground. Even though it is a dark roast it is very smooth and balanced. This is my go-to ground coffee when I don't have time to grind the beans myself. If you're looking for an amazingly satisfying cup of coffee you need to try this!

The price is right. This is very dark coffee that comes up very black in the grind and in the brew. I like the coffee, but it does have a bit of a bitter quality, and I am not sure I like it over a french roast.

This has become my go-to staple every morning of every day. Super fresh and great flavor. I have no idea how many times I've ordered this, but I will continue to do so until they stop making it. And it's substantially less expensive than every grocery store. A+

I’ve always been a huge fan of Starbucks coffee. I find that it’s the best on the market for my taste. The bold, flavorful, dark roasted beans are a delicious daily favorite. The only problem was that I was buying it from the wrong place and overpaying. Once I checked here I realized that I was paying about 40% more at the grocery store. Now I can get my favorite and have that wonderful aroma every morning without paying too much for a couple of fresh delicious coffee.

Great blend but too strong for my wife’s taste. I definitely would buy it again even if I have to make a separate pot for myself!
