The dog LOVES this toothpaste flavor. She quite willingly tolerates brushing her teeth with either end of the brush, and doesn't want the flavor experience to stop. It seems to get her teeth nicely clean. But I could live without the smell of this stuff on her breath. Still, it makes brushing the dog's teeth a 100% positive experience for her, so I'm all in on this product! No more having to chase after her or corner her or hold her down to brush. I like that!

Great brush even for large dogs.

My dog had horrible looking teeth and nasty breath. I had been using a water additive but it just wasn't helping. She seems happy enough for me to brush her teeth and likes the flavor of the toothpaste. Honestly, I can't see how anyone brushes the inside of the dog's teeth so I am focusing on the outsides and after only 2 or 3 brushings I could see a difference and her breath is so much better too. The brush is double ended but I only use the regular looking end - when I tried the other end it was not very successful. Overall, I highly recommend this brush and toothpaste.

I love the pipe cleaner/360-style brush head! I’ve tried a lot of different dog toothbrushes and this works best for me and my dog. Being able to just spin the brush head in my dog’s mouth instead of attempting a back and forth brushing motion (like a normal tooth brush), is so much easier. And my dog likes the flavor of the toothpaste too. We’re both really happy with this purchase.

Well, I just received it today, so I can't say how well it works on getting rid of the buildup as of now. What I can say is that my dogs went absolutely crazy over the flavor. They LOVE it. I brushed my dogs teeth which was kind of hard because I haven't done it before so they aren't used to it yet. But then I let them kind of lick the brush afterward as a little reward of brushing their teeth lol. I'll try to update later to inform on how well it works for removing buildup and such after using it for a while.

My dog hated getting her teeth brushed and did not like the taste of other the toothpastes. But she actually loves the taste of this toothpaste and it’s so much easier to just hold the brush while she gnaws on the brush (with the 360 bristles) end and basically does all the work. We did use a lot of encouragement so she wasn’t scared of it, but she likes it! Finally can brush my dogs teeth.

It has always been SUCH a struggle to brush my dogs teeth. HOWEVER, this toothpaste seems to be the ticket!! It smells kind of like a nice roasted chicken or turkey LOL. I just brushed my buddy’s teeth with this for the first time. Then I pulled the toothpaste out to take a pic for this review, and he came running! As you can see, he is now voluntarily putting the toothbrush in his mouth which I never dreamed of in a million years. I am a lifetime customer.

This product really works. I tried a different type of dog toothpaste recently, and the dog fought and didn't like it at all. I am so glad I used the Petrodex orignally, or I would have thought brushing dog teeth was crazy. Our dog sits down and waits for his tooth brushing, and then licks up the remaining paste off the finger cot we use. His teeth are whiter, and this is easy!

He gets all excited to see the toothbrush and paste! He even licks the brush clean before I wash it out. 🐶
