Such a useful stand. Great for holding recipe books, textbooks, and even phones. Works well and looks nice!

Very nice for my Fire tablet
My husband and I cook together and have our own prep space at opposite corners of the kitchen. I have two Fire tablets (one fell and cracked a corner so I got a replacement one because I thought I had damaged it but it just keeps on working) and lots of Kindle cookbooks. I got this stand to hold one of the tablets so we each can see a recipe at the same time. I have another plastic stand that is not as sturdy as this one. By opening the same recipe on each tablet he can do all the chopping and slicing at his corner while I do the spices, measuring, and cooking at my corner. The only concern with this holder is the little spring controlled tabs that hold the item in place prevent the touch screen from working. If a recipe uses more than one page view I can't "turn" the page without removing the tablet from the holder. Other than that the stand is terrific. It is strong, has adjustable angles by setting a metal holder in different slots on the back., easy to wipe clean from food splatters, and folds flat for storage. It would easily hold a book that is not too thick. I don't pull the tabs out more than about a finger width to get my tablet behind them so I don't think it would hold one of my hard copy cookbooks that is more than an inch thick. But it is perfect for a tablet.

great value for money
I wish it folded for easy storage or moving, and that the prongs holding the pages were adjustable. However, for the price, it's a great buy. It's lightweight, stable and holds the book well.

Sturdy, useful and a very good value
Even though the dimensions of this desktop stand were evident in the description, I was initially disappointed in how small this thing is. My bad. Then I tried it. It holds two 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper (in portrait orientation) quite well, though it won't hold three pages unless the margins on all three are quite wide. The clips are very strong, so hiding a third or fourth sheet behind the others, with the intention of removing the first ones on the fly, won't work. On the other hand, this stand will securely hold a "standard" song book that, opened, is 12 inches tall, 18 inches wide, and 300 pages deep. Similarly, it will hold a smaller format, 1000-page scorebook not only opened in the middle but also with 950 pages on one side and only 50 on the other. This thing is a little monster. Due to the strong clips, turning pages may not be easy (but if you're prepared, you can keep the page(s) to be turned outside the clips). Very glad I gave it a try.

Functional but not as good as I would like
This does hold books and magazines, but the little arms that hold the book are not adjustable and cannot be held open by themselves. The arms are very strong but that also makes it hard to get a book in there if you need two hands on the book. In others I have had, I was able to move the arm to an open position until I had the book in place. Also, the size of your book or magazine might be wider than the position of the arms and you can't move them to fit. This is a metal stand but it is pretty heavy, too, and that makes it a little hard to move around on a table, especially if you have a tablecloth on the table. There are better ones out there.

ottimo e buon prezzo

Surprisingly Handy and Sturdy
I picked up the Readaeer Metal Book Stand, and honestly, it’s such a simple but surprisingly useful little tool—especially if you’re someone who reads, cooks, studies, or just likes to keep your hands free. First off, it's made of metal, so it feels really solid and durable without being too bulky. The adjustable angles are great—you can set it however you want depending on your seating position or the lighting in the room. I mostly use it for propping up textbooks while working or for holding up cookbooks in the kitchen. It's super handy not having to flatten out the pages all the time. Another small but thoughtful touch is the two little spring-loaded page holders. They do a good job of keeping the pages down without damaging them, even for thicker books. And when you’re not using it, the whole thing folds up flat so it’s easy to tuck away in a drawer or bag. If you’re looking for something low-key that makes reading or studying a bit more comfortable, I’d say this is worth having around. It does the job well without taking up space or breaking the bank.
