Q: What are the measurements? description above says 12" (30cm) long, product information says 18 cm, and product details says 9" (22 cm) ??

Lots of ways to measure this thing. From beak to tail is about 10". From base (when sitting, legs are floppy) to top of head is about 6.5".

Q: Does this seagull really come sitting on the stick?

No, the stick is just a prop for the photo. Seymour is just a plain stuffed seagull, but he's as cute as can be. I hope that helps. Vicki
