Is this cushion comfortable on your bare skin? I see the little bumps are the real soft or hard? I’m very boned from being bedridden for 5yrs

I use it on a chair or sofa--not on bare skin. The bumps are hard but they are on the bottom of the cushion. Sometimes it's comfortable and sometimes not. Depends on my pain level.

Will this work well as a kayak cushion?

It is comfortable and waterproof and slip resistant. It in my shower on a granite bench. However I’ve never been kayaking so depending on your movement needs, I may suggest a cushion that straps down into a secure position.

I don't think this cushion has a weight limit. No weight limit was listed. I think anyone could sit on it. I have a built in shower bench in my shower and that's where I use it.
