300PCS Small High-Carbon Steel Barbed Fishing Hooks,Hole,10 Sizes

I recently bought this collection for my nine year-old grandson. The hooks are quite small like many of commented on, but for the size fish he's catching, I believe they will be fine. Since there are 300 hooks, I don't think he'll be needing to buy any for ages. The little case that they come in is also nicely designed so that the different sizes do not mix. It is not a very sturdy case, but I believe if handled carefully and not left out in the sun to warp, it should last for quite a while. The hooks appear very sharp and well manufactured. They are made out of steel and if kept dry, they should not rust, but in Missouri's humidity, if left outside or where the humidity is high, they may turn orange.

I bought this set last year when my 10-year-old son asked me to start fishing with him. I'm a beginner myself, so I didn't want to spend a lot on fancy gear. This kit was perfect for us. It comes with 300 hooks, and there are 10 different sizes. We caught a lot of small fish (bluegill, perch). My son loved it. What's good: Lots of hooks for very little money. Many sizes to choose from — good for learning. The small barbed hooks work fine for panfish. What you should know: These are basic, budget hooks. Not for giant trophy fish. Some of the very small sizes are delicate (don't force them). Bottom line: If you're a beginner or fishing with a kid, this set is a great way to start. You get plenty of hooks to practice with, and you won't cry if you lose one in a tree. We had fun, and that's what matters.

These are a great little assortment of fishing hooks. I love the box they come in it keeps them separated and organized in my backpack. The are plenty sharp be careful. Strong enough for the small freshwater pan fish I catch and eat. I have really enjoyed using these hooks and yes I would buy them again. A suggestion I spray them with a little Macs cable lubricant and they won't get rusty. Good value for my coinage and I like them. Just remember these are not very big hooks which is what I needed.

Accurate very very small almost comically small for the smallest one is abt small enough to catch a minnow love it

These are a great assortment of fishing hooks and they will work perfectly for my next trout fishing trip. I’m so happy with the sizes and quality. They seem to be very sharp and should be strong enough to bring in a fish. I’m not sure if they will rust or not yet. Time will tell.

The hooks themselves are very well made so I can't complain about that but they very much look and feel a lot smaller than the listed sizes which is a big disappointment. Decent enough price for the amount you get so definitely good if you're catching live bait for bigger, loftier catches.
