Fast shipping and amp is exactly as described! The small bass amp came very well packaged, is exactly as described, and functions flawlessly. The aux in sounds just fine and un-muffled, like you get sometimes with dedicated bass amps. This has one slight drawback though: the bass guitar tone is quite bright. In all fairness, my 5 string jazz bass has some seriously high output passive pickups, and DR Sunbeams stings. The brightness can be vastly improved with the addition of an inexpensive eq pedal. The volume is fine and more than adequate for reasonable practice volume levels. I can even use it as my computer speaker for music, and use my larger bass amp loud enough to feel the bass a bit while playing along with songs. At full volume and almost full gain, the low B string, and sometimes the low E string (but only with really aggressive articulation) experience a touch of distortion, but again when nearly maxed out. Should have no problem at all keeping up with an acoustic guitar, vocals, and cajon. I plan on testing this tomorrow. This leads me to the distortion effect. I like it! Super simple, one button press, no dials (however, it can be tamed a touch by reducing gain and/or tone), and there's that ubiquitous sound. Really, really good. Overall, happy with this little amp. Far better sound than the mini Fly bass with extension. That one had a weird compression thing going on that prevented the distortion, but would cause the sound to bloom with any sustain at all, making it impossible to play with any expression/articulation/dynamics. If you're looking for an inexpensive, functional, or battery powered amp, this is a viable option. Hope this helps. Update: This little amp will keep up as previously though; however, there is one caveat. It depends on the size and acoustics of the room. In a decent sized living room, both tone and volume are there. The larger room we play in has pretty dead acoustics and and you have to speak in a strong conversational tone to be heard. Here, either the volume or the tone was there, but not quite both. So, in my experience, it is ok for smaller acoustic settings, but not the larger room like I'd hoped... For the price, I'll keep it. It's still plenty useful.

My son needed a travel amp for his bass guitar, and it was great to find one not really that expensive. The sound quality was awesome and the quality of the sound that comes out of it is not that loud. For the power source, it is also nice it either takes batteries, or you can plug it in. My son also likes to listen to music so having the Bluetooth connectivity feature works so well for him to play his music from his phone on the go. It is not real heavy like a usual amp would have which is a really nice feature. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice little portable/practice amp for the price. Actually sounds like a small bass amp and not a tone dialed guitar amp. Volume isn't super loud but loud enough to do the job if you're playing along with a few acoustic instruments. My UBass sounds really nice through it. My electric bass sounded okay but I really only plan on playing acoustic through it anyway so that's fine. The Headphone and Aux-in are nice oprions. The battery power doesn't last too long but if you want to go play out in the middle of nowhere with no power then it serves the purpose. Great value, nice tone, and great portability if you're looking for a nice portable amp to use when a power isn't available.

Very impressive for its small size and price. Not going to put on any concerts with it but it’s perfect for someone just getting into playing the bass. Sound is crisp and clear if you don’t push its limits, gets a little buzzy at its top output.

Purchase this so my son could keep practicing bass when we went out of town. This was the perfect size. Not super loud which was perfect for our needs. He was happy he got to keep playing. Works great with batteries. Light and easy to carry.

Cheap, but I suppose that's why you buy it right? In all honesty, I use this amp every time I play my bass. Sounds fine, it gets kinda loud if you want it too, very simple. Being battery powered is also nice. Allows me to play anywhere without an outlet. Love it.

This amp appears well-made, is very portable, and has adequate adjustments (tone control, etc.), but the sound is very tinny and has no punch, whatsoever. This is not surprising since it has a 5" speaker, but online reviews led me to believe otherwise. If you need something strictly for practice this will work fine, but don't purchase this to use for live performances; it simply won't do. Using the headphone output, I ran the amp through my computer sound system. It has a 10" sub and gave me the sound and depth I was looking for.

This was for my older daughter to use with the bass I gifted her. It seems pretty sturdy and is compact and light weight, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. We only used it plugged up to the wall so I can't speak for the battery life, but it does fit well in her smaller bedroom. For a younger kid this would work but my daughter has been in band for several years and I should have sprung for something a bit pricier.

As a small inexpensive bass amp, it surprised me with the very good sound quality. Overall, I think it does very well for what it was designed for. It is not built to be bashed about, but would be okay as a portable unit. You will need to get a guitar strap or something to carry it around as well. Be aware it is cumbersome to pick up without the strap.

Works well and sounds great for my needs. It's a great portable practice amp. Would buy again
