It just has a light to show that it is on, not to light the area you use it on.

Cable will not fit my charging block. What am I doing wrong?

Does this come with a single A battery ?

It’s a rechargeable battery, not sure what type. I charged it per instructions before 1 st use; used it several times on my face over about 4-6 weeks. Then battery went dead & would not recharge. Amazon stated could not return it because return date expired, which was about a month.

Can u use it on ur legs and underarms?

I haven't tried it, but I think that hair would be too course. This only works on very fine hair. Besides it would take a very long time to do legs and underarms with this. Hope this helps
