FITTESTFTL50 50mm High Precision Tripod Level Sprit Level Add-on Offset Bubble Level

Bought this level for a new Mactrem 80" camera tripod. The tripod has a 49.29mm diameter tightening wheel which fits perfectly inside the 50mm diameter outside lip of the level or underneath it. It does not rub nor make the tightening wheel any harder to use. Even though the Mactrem "fluid mount head" itself has two levels, I wanted a third level below the fluid head solely to ensure the tripod was perfectly vertical so any camera panning would be level. It fits wonderfully and still allows the tripod to fold up and store away in a very tight spot within my equipment case. I looked at other options and brands and am very glad I made the right choice. Now people won't know if I'm an amateur photographer or a land surveyer.

I got this to help leveling my tripod, particularly for panos. While I can level my camera on the ballhead, the tripod itself (Manfrotto BeFree Advanced aluminum) does not come with any level indicator. This level fits perfectly between the tripod base and the ball head. It does not interfere with the opening/closing of the tripod legs or adversely affect tripod function in any way I've noticed. It does indeed seem to accurately indicate level. Only time will tell how well it holds up to use, but it's among the very least expensive photography accessories I've owned, so I'm not too worried about its durability.

Mounted this bubble level on my MeFoto Roadtrip Tripod and it fit perfect. So far... the bubble is very accurate. Sure the bubble could be bigger however that also would mean the overall size would have to change dramatically. The tripod legs fold millimeters from their original position making this a non factor. The Roadtrip ballhead diameter at the base is 46mm so that left very little gap, in my mind this was perfect. Durability will tell with time. Seems very tight after install and does not spin, but i have not had it long. This was less expensive than a leveling base for me at the time... I am very happy with the purchase 10/16/19.

For the reference, Manfrotto Befree GT 's base is 40 mm.What I worried the most was if my tripod can fold with it, but fold it does and have quite some room left as well!As for the function, the bubble seem quite smooth to me.There is a reviewer reporting the bulls eye being too small, which is true.However, there is a black dot at the center, so you can try putting the black dot in the center of the bubble for fine adjustment. So, small bulls eye isn't a issue for me.

Bulls eye is small and not very sensitive. It take a lot of movement to move the bubble out of center. Better have good eyes to see it.
