Read reviews on many sellers selling the ‘same’ hose, but the reviews for this one were much more positive. This hose was the perfect fit for the NV680UKT. A good sturdy hose with plenty of flex where it’s needed. I can see this one lasting a very good while. Functions exactly as it’s meant to. Plenty of videos on YouTube explaining how to swap the hose out. Remember though it’s a reversed thread so twist clockwise to take the old hose off. Twist anti-clockwise to screw the new hose on!

Excellent, so far. Unlike a previous one I bought, this one fits. And even though these hoses are notoriously difficult to bit due to the vacuum's design, this one was relatively easy once the work of dismantling the machine was done. Works perfectly. Hopefully it will last a decent length of time. I may even buy a spare now in case they cease to be available

I hav ean NV801UKT and the bottom hose broke. I eventually got that out and it has 2 collars on it which are a pain. I got them out and extracted the old hose (basically pulling the wire so it left the collar and then tidied the collar up) This hose WILL NOT fit in that scenario. I took the hose and collars and placed into a bowl of hot water for a good while to let it all soften and I was then able to partially screw and wedge this hose into the collars I could then adjust so it looked OK

Replacement hose for my shark rocket HV320. Lost all suction and discovered the original hose had two holes in it, seems to be a common issue. Replacement was somewhat fiddly but watched videos on you tube. Worth the effort of changing the pipe rather than whole new head or machine for this price of this pipe and purchasing a torx key set

Seemed a quality product but very rigid and when trying to fit it I was unable to stretch it sufficiently to allow it to seal at both ends. Ultimately, I had to buy a new vacuum, the next option a new 'head' being almost as expensive as a new vacuum, and allt least I have a spare for the car ( with the pipe only). Go ahead and try it, you might save yourself a new vacuum, but I failed!! :-(

Brilliant fixed my liftaway nv681uk 40. Previous suppliers claiming to fit this model failed. Great saved me buying a replacement head. Thankyou very much

My awesome Shark Vacuum DuoClean developed a hole in the hose and I thought I was going to have to throw the whole thing out, but thats when I discovered this hose on amazon. Its always great when you can repair something rather then send it to the landfill. It did take a little bit of determination and a couple of other items. You will want to also get: - T20 wrench with a hole in the middle for removing screws. Needs to be long enough to fit in deeper holes on Shark vacuum. I picked up a multi tool from Harbor Freight - I used Shoe Goop to glue the hose onto the parts that click into the vacuum and gave it 24 hrs to dry before inserting. - I needed a long flat head screwdriver to help push this back into place. I watched a helpful British man on youtube to get an idea of what I was doing. I just saved myself $200 by ordering this item.

The product worked well and did everything that it was supposed to do. Now, for the rest of the story. These Shark vacuums are not designed to be repaired. For a UV810 like ours, you will need a T10 & T20 long security bit. Our vacuum was a bit more busted up inside than I expected so some of the screws don't have anything left to hold on to. You'll have to strip the old hose out of the rubber ends and glue this new hose into them. I used E6000 glue here. After letting that set for about 24 hours, I promptly pulled one of the ends off of the hose trying to get it back into the vacuum. After regluing and waiting another 24 hours, I used some wire pulling lubricant and a long slotted screwdriver to get the hose back into the vacuum. Long story short, it took a lot more effort than I anticipated but I was able to repair our Shark UV810 vacuum with this hose.

There are multiple videos online of how to correctly disassemble the vac motor unit to get access to replace this part and is pretty easy to do providing you have the correct torx tool. Once apart, getting the old hose separated from the both ends it threads into is not overly simple. If an original hose it is going to feel like it is glued in (and may be), so to get separated will require destroying the old hose more that it is already damaged. I found I could get a small screw driver under one of the hose threads and pry up that thread, and from there could follow it around and around until I could pull separating the hose from body. The new hose then very simply screwed into position - perfect fit! Vacuum now works as good as day one!
