2.5" 3.5" Dual USB 2.0 IDE SATA Hard Drive Disk HDD Dock Docking Station Clone

I bought this thinking I could either clone the two IDE drives I was to pull photos and videos off of before I get rid of them or just use it for temporary external access to them to move the files over. I could not accomplish either.After waiting three weeks for it to get here from Shanghai (yea, I should have paid more attention) I was all exited to get my data off my old drives.First, the very poorly translated instructions that come with it do not tell you how to connect it to your computer. They do not tell you if it is plug and play, or really what all the I/O ports on the device are for.Additionally there is no software that come with the device. There is a link on the box that send you to a site where there are about 40 different sets of drivers to download, but none of them have the name of the device I just received. Being the sharp character I am, I realized the names of the files were the model number. Hunting around on the device, I discovered what was sent to me was a Model 875. Well, there's software a software package labeled; "875-J_OTB_Download" and there is another labeled; "875D-J_OTB_Download". Well, mine doesn't have a 'J', but I'll went with the straight up 875 (I don't have the model 875D).I download the software, and its a .rar file (head drops) ... really? OK, take all the steps to make sure this .rar file from China isn't going to infest my PC ... and de-rar it. I open up the instructions for the software (that still doesn't tell you how to connect it) and find the minimum requirements. Odd ... Windows 98? But then I realize the recommended set up is a Pentium or better (laugh!) with Windows VISTA (2006).But it really doesn't matter because I can't open the software.Its not that Windows 10 isn't allowing me to open it ... I can't open the software period! Clicking on the icon does nothing, going to the directory and trying to run application from there doesn't get me anything.So, I get my drive and after some effort I get it mounted and turn on the device ... my drive spins up. No will the software work? Nope. Nothing. I shut it all down, disconnected everything, cross my fingers that I didn't harm my drive and boxed it up.I will eat the $30 I paid for it ... I just had to return a blue tooth speaker that didn't work and I hear Amazon starts getting wonky if you start returning stuff. So I will just eat it.I am giving it 2 stars because I did hear my drive spin up!!!!Guys, don't buy this. Get something up to date and a little more local. I got a feeling some old guy with a scraggly mustache in Shanghai bought out the over-stock on these 10 years ago when they quit making them and is selling them to unsuspecting Americans willing to toss $30 his way.
