Great product at a fair price. It took 2 of us to build from scratch in 1hr 30 minutes Very comfortable cushions and all in all looks very smart.

The only adverse comments we found on line related to the fact that the cahirs were difficult to assemble because some of the holes didn't line up correctly. Whilst I cannot disagree with this finding I have to say that none were so out of line that it was impossible to assemble without a bit of 'brute force' (although I did have to enlarge one hole just a little which was no real problem). The assembled set is superb. I cannot fault it. The table and chairs are well made and sturdy. The cushions are the essence of comfort and the 'wind up' umbrella works perfectly. I am looking forward to many hours of total relaxation in the sun (assuming we get some). Just one other point: unfortunately the table arrived without the little packet of nuts and bolts. However, one e-mail tp the supplier and the packet was duly delivered THE FOLLOWING MORNING. How about that for customer service! Absolutely brilliant....and such a bargain price!

Lovely table and chairs. Fairly easy to put together as long as screws and hole align. Un fortunately 3 of my chairs have 1 screw missing from each due to non alignment. Table and 3 chairs perfect. The set looks great and chairs are very comfortable. Parasol easy to put up and down. Easy action crank. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase and think it’s good value for price.

We bought this set in May this year. Approximately six weeks' later, I was sat out alone eating and reading at the table only to have the table glass explode all over me, and all over a significant portion of our lawn. I sat, 37 weeks pregnant, alone but for a dog that I was having to scream at to stay away from the glass, with sandals full of broken, tiny shards of glass - unable to move until I'd spent 20 minutes picking miniscule sharp shards of glass out of my sandals. To say I was upset by this incident is an understatement! I then spent the next hour in the house picking tiny shards of glass off my chest and out of my hair (thank goodness I'd been wearing sunglasses!), before showering to remove any remainders. It was a traumatic and upsetting evening to say the least. To save me further stress in full term pregnancy, my partner has addressed this with both Amazon and the marketplace seller, Primrose Garden Furniture. Both have been exceedingly unhelpful and seem unwilling to acknowledge the severity of what has happened, or warn previous or future consumers. Upon first raising a call with Primrose, the representative said it was the third call they'd had that week about table glass exploding (presumably due to the heatwave we've been having). The company have refunded us the cost of the table but have said this is the only thing they can do - they have point blank refused to provide another table set which does not contain glass meaning that we have nowhere to sit in the garden currently - exactly why we had purchased a set this summer so we'd be able to sit out in late pregnancy and with the new baby. We have also raised the fact that our garden is currently unusable - I cannot let my dog out into the garden unsupervised (he is a strong dog and I am heavily pregnant so this is a daily nuisance!) and despite numerous attempts it is simply impossible to remove all of the glass shards from the affected area which is approx 4x4m. Therefore we are now left with the additional cost of returfing a large area of garden, for which we can afford neither the time or money! All at a time when our first baby could be born any day now. We note that the item and other similar items are still for sale on both Amazon & Primrose's own website without any additional safety warning. I can only imagine the stress and potential for injury had this happened whilst sitting at the table with a newborn baby!! Equally, whilst I appreciate these things can happen (although clearly this is not a once off), I would expect far, far more from a customer services perspective to rectify the damage caused as a minimum, never mind then apologising for the stress and inconvience caused at this important time for us. I would thoroughly discourage anyone from purchasing this set and/or using this seller.

The set looks good and is comfortable. It should be easy to assemble - 8 nuts and bolts on the table and four on each chair, "Allen Key" and small spanner supplied. The difficulty comes when you find, with the chairs, that none of the bolt holes line up. It was only with great difficulty that I managed to assemble the chairs, and the last one was impossible. The final bolt hole was "out" by almost a centimetre, and I had to resort to a "bodge" job with tape. Not good for a new item. Service was good. The item was delivered on time, with telephoned notice. Unfortunately, the table top was severely bent and the glass already shattered inside the box. I contacted the supplier, returned all the delivery and the replacement arrived the next working day. I advise thorough checking of the item before you accept it.

Early days as only taken delivery this p.m. A good looking bistro set. Assembly was self-evident and not too difficult even for a 79 year-old. We had our first evening meal out on the patio for the year. The chairs are beautifully designed and the seat cushions are very comfortable. Here's hoping they're are weather proof!
