I’ve been smoking for almost 20 years this works I’m on day 7 and I’ve already moved to stage 2 this works so well you honestly don’t even need to wait the full 2 weeks to start the next step you can feel this working the first night you do have minor withdrawal symptoms like a slight headache but goes away after after 2 days just keep drinking water it really helps!! You may also feel a little aggravated from time to time but just lite another cig and get through it!! I am having good results using the Filtrim. I have been a heavy smoker for many years. With the first stage (there are 4) of using the Filtrim I have already noticed an improvement in my breathing. I felt only mild nicotine withdrawal for the first 3 days. I'm ready to move on to stage 2 and am confident that I can follow the program through to the end. I think the key is the gradual nicotine withdrawal and not having to give up the act of smoking all at once. Of course, there's also the benefit of getting less tar and carbon monoxide. Compare the end of your cigarette filter with and without Filtrim. I actually smoke fewer cigarettes now than I did before I started using Filtrim and for me that's saying something. The product has a good heft to it, the black and gold is very attractive, and it's very easy to use. The enclosed brochure is very informative as well. Well worth the price.

I've now been on it for a week and planning on the 8 week part but, have been able to slow down already. Following the directions I believe I will be able to stop. I will add a new review if I can stop. The flavor and hit is lighter than normal and you can see the difference on the end of your butt that you're only drawing in half of the normal tar and nicotine. I've been a pack plus a day smoker since I joined the army over 30 years ago and I'm already under a pack a day. *You do have to want to quit and don't take bigger hits or it won't work* Good luck to all. Update; I ended up losing it on week 3-4 and was mad at myself but, instead of reordering it I went back to my old ways. Well, I just had my birthday yesterday and told myself I'm done smoking and am ready to quit so I'm re ordering another one because it was working for me exactly as instructions said. I've tried everything else including hypnosis and this is the only thing that was sliding me down and getting me healthier in the process. Mine broke after a few weeks of using. I was using it to cut down on the tar and nicotine. So, in that respect it doesn't work very well once it is broken. Was going to get a new one but the price went up from 19.99 to 49.99. Not much help when you still have to buy the cigarettes. That's the worst part.

I think it's a good little tool that could really work. It did help me cut down, but ultimately I used Chantix to completely quit. Great price and a good little tool that did help me.

I was going to wait until i completed the full 8 week course to review but there is something that made me do it early. I am currently part way through week 3. The first day or two of each step is a little rough but you get used to it quickly and you don't feel like you are missing anything for long. I have resistant high blood pressure. Usual readings of 151/92. After using this product, my blood pressure readings have been as low as 111/64. That in itself has made me thrilled with this product. 2 recommendations for anyone using this product. Do not do full lung hits, inhale into your mouth and then into your lungs. This prevents drawing the smoke deeper into your lungs than usual. This was recommended by my doctor. Also, if you are one that holds the cigarette in your fingers even when in your mouth, get out of that habit. Hold the tip between your lips to avoid covering the holes with your fingers. Hope the rest goes as well as the first few weeks. Have been trying to quit for 29 years and hope this will finally be what i needed.

I am hopeful this little gadget will help me end a 40 year 2 pack a day habit/addiction! I love that it is NOT a nicotine replacement that just keeps me addicted to another form of nicotine delivery. I also really like that you can customize this to your personal journey with quitting. I have just started stage 2 after 3 weeks on stage 1. I feel guilty when I don't punch my little holes lol...any other time I have tried to quit the withdrawals were more than I was ready to handle...with this like I said you can customize to your own needs. I did experience a mild withdrawal headache mid to late week 1 and I won't be surprised if that is the case on each stage. Again the way I look at it is for the price of roughly half a carton of smokes you OWN this so if you don't make it on the first try there is no further investment and you can start over ANY TIME no more out of pocket expense! I have a friend who is doing it with me the buddy system ALWAYS helps but again it is so self customizable I really think it will work if you truly WANT TO QUIT! Good luck to you and don't be down on yourself if you have to stay at a level longer than the 2 weeks just keep the end goal in sight and do what feels right for you! OH ps I love watching the smoke come out the holes and knowing I am NOT getting that smoke in me its GREAT! Hopefully in about 6 more weeks I will be able to proudly say "I DON'T SMOKE" Good luck! Can’t blame the product. More just not worth the money. I’m not a smoker but I bought for boyfriend. I guess you have to take the time to poke the cigarettes and remember to keep it on you in addition to the lighter. He maybe used it twice.

This is a quality, well-made item. I appreciated having it to add extra holes into the cigarettes I had, which were really strong. I would say using this did help while on my journey, but this wasn't the reason I quit. I did that by buying all-natural supplements.
