I bought this to replace a guitar that had lost its electronics. I was in a bind and I needed something affordable and I needed it fast. When it showed up I was astonished. I have several high-end American made instruments but this thing held its own with all of them, and the pickup/preamp was better than anything I'd heard. I had decided that I'd hold my nose and play an upcoming gig with a cheap instrument. Now it's my go-to guitar!

I have always wanted a Fender since I was a teen and my friend had one. Their sound means quality. I have a cheap guitar and the difference in holding and playing is like night and day. The bundle comes with everything but a guitar stand. I just wish the guitar picks they gave were a variety of soft medium and hard instead of all medium. Built in amplifier connection works well with a mini amp also purchased. Built in tuner works pretty well. It also comes with an external tuner as well but I haven't used it. I use the Fender app on my phone which is very good and free. The neck of the guitar is thin for easy control. The soft case isn't just a piece of plastic but lined with padding for protection. Only complaint i have is the manual it comes with. It doesn't cover everything like where the battery goes or how the internal tuner works. Easy to figure out but still it comes with a 9v battery and wonder why until you figure to put in by the input plug. Anyway I love the Mahogany finish and the mellow sound. Hope this review helps!

Perfect for me!

Amazing quality sound! The guitar was packaged nicely and the built in tuner proved to be handy. It came with a few flaws like a scratched pick guard and a few splotches trapped in the varnish. But ultimately this guitar is quality, coming from a reputable brand the guitar was really satisfying to play. I'd say the purchase was worth it.

This guitar has an excellent sound. It's more beautiful in your hands than the pictures themselves

Guitar excellent. Tuner worked good. Just bought PA to check internal mic. Going to chip away. Happy.

Loving the guitar

I bought this wonderful Fender guitar so my son and I could learn to play together. The guitar is beautiful, seemed easy to tune and we are excited to learn together. The gig bag that came with the instrument as part of the package seems cheap, thin and has very little padding to protect the guitar. I expected a better quality bag from Fender and am very disappointed. I am planning to buy the same “ third party” gig bag my son has for his guitar which is of a much better quality! The gig bag is the only thing keeping me from giving a five star rating!
