Best Kitchen Sink I've Ever Owned
I chose this Kraus KBU22 sink after reading all of the reviews posted on Amazon for this and other comparable sinks. I have a 33" kitchen sink base cabinet and I wanted to maximize the size of the sink that I installed. This sink isn't recommended for a 33" base cabinet, but with a little trimming of the wood on the inside of the cabinet, we managed to slip it in... It's a very nice quality, heavy-duty stainless steel. It seems to be easy to clean thus far, and the baskets that came with it for strainers are superior to what I've used before. The stoppers work very well for filling sink with water and the included wire racks are a must...they keep the sink looking nice. The depth is perfect for having your dishes soak in the sink prior to washing... This sink is far superior than anything I could find at local home improvement centers. I used a Delta Valdosta Spotshield Stainless faucet which complemented the sink nicely.

VERY high quality
Sink is very thick stainless, comes with really nice heavy-gauge wire grids, and decent drain connection parts. I was afraid of ordering without seeing it and more importantly, hearing it (giving it a "think" on the side to see how well it is insulated). Turns out my fears were unfounded ... this is a darn nice sink, as nice as many costing hundreds more, with a satisfying silent "thud" from my "thunk." In other words, the sink is well-insulated, and is nice and quiet both with running water as well as the disposer. The finish as also very nice, better than many I have seen. The only "complaint" is that it is not made in the U.S., but most of the other sinks in this price range were imported as well (I think only Elkay makes all/most of their sinks in the U.S.).

Excellent stainless steel kitchen sink
I purchased this kitchen sink for a kitchen remodel that I did on a rental unit I own in Venice Beach, CA. I recently remodeled the kitchen in the unit I live in and purchased a similar stainless steel kitchen sink through the fabricator who put in the Ceasar Stone counters. When doing the kitchen in the rental unit, I had more experience from having remodeled my own kitchen and felt that the price the original fabricator charged me was too high. I don't recommend purchasing the sink through your fabricator as it is akin to buying food at a movie theater. They feel that they got you so they increase the markup. I live in Southern California so have lots of options on contractors and handy men, especially now given all the unemployed and under employed builders from the housing recession. Anyhow, I wanted to save some money from the original contractor and shopped around. I got this sink for $150-$200 less than what I paid for the other sink which looked identical. While different brands, one would have a hard time telling them apart. The Kraus one came with a strainer on the bottom for pots and pans so as not to scratch the stainless steel and what I feel are nicer sink plugs. The different fabricator I used picked it up and made their cuts in the Ceasar Stone so that it looks perfect. I also purchased Kraus faucets which nicely compliment this sink. A great purchase. When doing a large remodel, every $100 adds up to where you can save $1,000s.

Let them soak
The sink is a quality and versatile product that won't sink your budget. Fairly easy to install and durable, the stainless steel look is timeless and easy to clean. The two separate tubs help make the cleaning process easier to manage. They are deep and wide so you can fit most items in there to help soak the pots and pans and plates. No one likes to do the dishes, but if you have to, roll up your sleeves and use this sink.

Love this sink!!
I love this sink!! It has taken me a while to leave a review for this but our remodel has taken more time than anticipated : >. Anyways, the sink has been in for a few weeks now and I LOVE IT!! It is just the right size and depth for all my pots and pans. I love the racks that came with it and the strainers and the towel even!! It was packed very well and came in perfect condition. It is a heavy sink, very well made and my fiance, who is a machinist, was impressed with the quality of it. We were a little skeptical of ordering online without feeling it and seeing it in person, but after searching and searching at every local place we could, decided to take the risk. It was definitely worth it. We also bought a faucet and are very happy with it as well. Do not hesitate to buy this sink! It is worth every penny! And the shipping was super fast!

Needed a sink in a hurry, two years later it's still 5 stars!
Two years ago when we remodeled our kitchen, our designer recommended and we bought a Blanco double bowl sink from a local plumbing supply company. Can't remember the exact price, approximately $600 discounted. When the sink came in, I took it to the granite fabricator so they could cut the hole and undermount it in the countertop. The next day the shop foreman calls to tell me he won't install it, it's too flimsy, he won't guarantee the countertop if I insist on using it. I went to the shop and he showed me what he was concerned about, the 16 gauge SS sink was flimsy, it wobbled and flexed as though it were made of aluminum foil, had no rigidity or sound proofing, and looked cheap compared to the 'free' sinks they give away. The granite, by the way, was not one of the fragile varieties. The plumbing supply company was not helpful in finding a quick replacement, and insisted on a 25% restocking fee to return it. That left me with Amazon as my only hope. The reviews of the Kraus sink were great, the price was a bargain ($249 in 2012) compared to the other, and with the original Prime 3.99 next day fee, I took it to the fabricator the next day. He was happy to install it and said it looked like a great choice. It was a great choice, and along with the Kraus accessory grids we bought, the sink looks as good as the day we got it almost two years ago. Which brings me to why I'm just writing my review - we're remodeling our laundry room and need a single bowl sink, so I looked up my original order so that I could find a Kraus sink with the same specs as our kitchen sink. I noticed that i never reviewed the sink after buying it, and it has been such a great product that came to us in an emergency, that I felt the need to give it 5 stars and my highest recommendation.

Had this sink for one year now still love this sink
I was reluctant to purchase this last year in the middle of a kitchen remodel, but read lots on the brand and decided to try it, but even after all my online reading, I was not sure I made the right decision. I liked all the specs that this sink has. The depth is nice because I don't have to do the dishes right away and you can't see the dishes from the other room when they are piled in the sink. The depth isn't too deep which is the other thing I was not sure about, but it never bothers by back when I need to get things at the bottom of the sink. The reason I'm writing this review is that I could find no reviews on long term use of the sink. After a year I still am happy with this purchase. It cleans up easily. Basically, daily, I rinse it with water. A couple times a week, I wash it with soap and water on my sponge, and once a month or two, I clean it with Sheila shine and dry it up nicely. It still looks as good as the first day we put it in. I like both drain options it comes with, but with a garbage disposal, we had to pick one. I liked them both, so either one would be fine. The sink grates are nice and I think they have helped to not scratch the sink. For those out there not sure what to do, I would not hesitate to buy this brand sink again.

Seems to scratch easily
I purchased this sink after lots and lots of research and online review reading. Since it was going to be an undermount install on my new quartz counter, I wanted to be sure it was a great buy. Overall, I am okay with the sink, but I definitely do not love it. I like that it is deep and I wanted one with even sized double sink, so it is good in that aspect. What I am unhappy with is that it seems to scratch extremely easy....I mean CRAZY easy. The slightest swipe of some silverware and it's got huge long scratches. Maybe this is normal for stainless steel (??), but I thought that since I bought the more durable steel and the very favorable reviews that it would not be an issue. I have come to terms with it and decided that it's just a sink and it functions well for its purpose, but the scratches are still a bit of a bummer in my shiny new kitchen. One more little thing you may want to consider is that the bottoms are not completely flat. It has a curved shape to it that slopes up a bit from the sides of the sink towards the drain, so when I put a glass in it, I have to be sure I put it almost right next to the wall of the sink or it will fall over. Overall, this sink is just okay. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't buy a sink until I had seen it in person and on display so I could be sure it was exactly what I wanted. edited to note: I am giving the metal racks that a came with a try to see if that helps me with the issues I am having. I will update after a few weeks of use.
