Survival Tested
When you have six kids, a fishing trip can quickly turn into a chaotic mess of tangled lines and "Dad, I lost my hook!" Having a kit that keeps everything in one place isn't just a luxury; itโs a survival tactic. I took the TOPFORT 187/343pcs Kit out to the dock to see if it could handle the "D. Family" chaos. Hereโs the breakdown from a guy who values organization and gear that doesn't quit. The Tackle Box: A Handymanโs Perspective The first thing I look at is the container. If the box won't stay shut in my truck bed, the gear inside doesn't matter. The Seal: This is a double-sided box with a high-strength lever lock. It actually has a rubber gasket seal around the edge, making it legitimately waterproof. As a handyman, I appreciate a solid sealโit keeps the stainless steel gear from rusting if (when) one of the kids drops the whole thing in the lake. +1 Layout: Itโs compact (about the size of a large smartphone for the 187pc, slightly larger for the 343pc). One side has adjustable dividers, which I love because I can customize the sections for bigger lures or extra weights. The other side has a high-density foam base that holds the jig heads in place so they aren't rattling around. +1 The Gear: Father of 6 "Stress Test" With this many pieces, youโre basically getting a "greatest hits" of terminal tackle. Variety: Itโs loaded. You get offset hooks, barrel swivels, sinker weights, beads, and snaps. For a dad, this is great because when the 6-year-old snags a log and loses his rig for the third time, I have 40 more hooks waiting. Durability: The accessories are stainless steel. They don't bend easily when you're trying to muscle a hook out of a stubborn bass, and they hold up well in both freshwater and the occasional saltwater trip. The "Penny" Value: At roughly 10 cents a piece, Iโm not crying when a kid loses a sinker. Itโs the "bulk buy" mentality that works for big families. The Final Verdict This kit is like a well-organized screw and bolt organizer for my workshopโit just works. Itโs not "pro-circuit" level gear, but for a dad taking a fleet of kids to the pond, itโs perfect. Itโs small enough to throw in the glove box, and the waterproof seal means I don't have to worry about the gear ruining before our next trip. Handymanโs Rating: ๐ ๏ธ๐ ๏ธ๐ ๏ธ๐ ๏ธ (4.5/5 Hammers โ Great latch and seal.) Dadโs Rating: โญโญโญโญโญ (5/5 Stars โ Saves me from "Where's the hook?" meltdowns.)

Good kit with for the price , missing item or two but you can live without at beginning :)
Ok to start the box looks nice although it is smaller than I thought it would be :) Pros: โข It has a variety of things you will need if you want to start fishing such as : o Offset hooks looks to be of a good quality (not tested yet, but can tell by comparing to the eagle claw ones)with light wire which is good if you are a beginner makes it easier to set hook but might bend if you catch a large one ) o Nice collection of Split shots o 4 nice jig heads, colors are not the best but I do not think fish really cares: D o My fav, is the three-way swivel, I believe most new anglers will need to have drop shot, as it is easy to catch multiple specie using it. o Other stuff that would help in catching catfish and other species :) Cons/Recommendations: Would have been nice to have the following even if it means less of the other stuff, โข Triple hooks for spoon lures โข Worm weights to go along the offset hooks To be honest most of the people buying those kits are beginners I would highly recommend adding a 2~3 paper with all different rigs you can do with those 187 items. (Drop shot, Split shot, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs ...etc.) Will give it a try on weekend and give an update on the Hooks durability .

Good value with a variety of pieces.
Exactly as advertised, all up to the number of items (I know because I counted). Neatly packed in a multi compartments case. Compact and light, so no problem carrying it in a pocket or simply putting it in a fishing kit. Not tested as of writing of this review, but seems ok compared to regular hooks and swivels. The swivels seem small though, not sure I would try for big fishes with those, but certainly good enough for light rigs and creek fishing. You can't go wrong for the price.
