ASSE 1019 2890 FIT!
This fit my asse 1019 2890 outdoor spigot perfectly. It's good quality metal. Like other reviewers have said, I hope this review will help anyone find the right fit if looking for the asse 1019 2890 vacuum breaker replacement. What else can I say? Good product. Screwed in easily with no tools needed. No more leaks!

It seems to be a very good replacement for my leaking outdoor faucet anti-siphon valve. Good fit and finish and it installed easily. So far, it has stopped the leak. The only recommendation I would make would be to include some basic install instructions for those not sure about how to do it.

Simple fix for leaking vacuum breaker
I was nervous I would need a plumber to replace the entire outdoor water faucet. Did a little searching and realized it was likely my vacuum breaker. Not sure how universal these things are but this one works fine. Took all of 30 seconds. I unscrewed the cap, unscrewed the body of vacuum breaker, inserted new pieces and screwed cover back on. Turned on water and voila. Was like brand new. Turns out that the rubber gasket on old one was cracked. Not surprising after 15 years and having hard water on the outside spigots. If you can use a microwave, you can fix this if water is pouring out of your vacuum breaker.
