Can this be used with ionic lithium marine batteries?… Ionic states not to use a charger that has a desulfurization feature..thanks in advance!

There is no desulfation in 12V Lithium mode.

Whats the difference beetween this pro 10aml model and the regular 10amp on board model

Robert R. noted that the older Gen10 model is not weatherproofed but it also has a 6v battery charging capability, with what looks like less capabilities for Lithium (pertaining to self-managed or not ... reports vary as to whether BMS is required or won't work with it depending on battery). The GenPro10+1 has eyelets and tap screws for mounting on boats inline if desired while the GEN5 and Gen10 are pictured with battery clamps.

What is the maximum battery capacity? Mine is 400ah 12v so if this can't charge it do you know what will?

The 230 amp-hours is a recommendation. It can charge batteries with higher capacities, but it takes longer to recharge. For example, a 400 amp-hour battery takes roughly 40-hours to recharge with a GENPRO10X1. For comparison, the GENIUSPRO25 would be 12-hours, and the GENIUSPRO50 would be 6-hours.

are two batteries in parallel considered one bank?

Fantastic battery charger for a variety of uses. Have an old fashioned charger that I used for years on our vehicles on occasions when we needed. My old charger was the analog transformer style and it was quite noisy when in use. While these old chargers work fine for the occasions when you need them, they only work on the Lead-Acid style of battery found for starting engines in vehicles. Nothing wrong with that, but they cannot handle many of the newer type of battery chemistries that you can encounter. I had built my own portable power bank using a LiPo battery and needed a way to be able to charge it up. I bought this specifically for that task and it worked excellently. It charges fast and it is completely silent while in use. The smart charging circuitry is perfect for being able to adjust the charger to allow it to maximize performance and handling of the specific type of battery you are using it with. Thus it is perfect for handling both the newer LiPo batteries like I used in my power bank project, as well as replacing the older and bulkier analog chargers.

Amazing! This charger really does amazing job! An older battery, that stood during the winter in a vehicle not driven for months and incapable to get a drop of juice after hours and hours of charging - in repair mode with this NOCO GENPRO10X1 was healed! After 4 hours in a "repair mode" and 6 hours of charging now is a full capacity and holds charge well. It is a proof, that what all above said from other users about this charger is true! Very happy with purchase and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. And Amazon was ultra fast to deliver it 2 days earlier than estimated, for which - thank you Amazon!
