My daughter has discovered model making and really enjoying these creative packs. She had no trouble putting this one together, all the peices were in place and easy to put together. What's more is that it actually works really well and a great novelty on the shelf which is wound up every now and then. Great for a model making beginner.

It was a birthday present for my 9 year old grand daughter. She really enjoyed making it and loves to hear it play. She is used to crafting and making things so the challenge of assembly was just right for her and a great way to learn about how cogs combine to work.

First saw this range at our local garden centre and purchased a similar model for a birthday gift which was a great success so I thought I’d buy one and ‘give it a go’. The product is beautifully made and the instructions are clear as long as you follow them to the letter. Sometimes you need a bit more brute strength to lock certain pieces together however as long as you take your time and keep calm (at one point I did consider hurling the model across the room :) ) the result is fantastic. I will be buying another model as I’ve ‘got the bug’.

Great sound quality, really clear. The instructions were diagrams which showed were pieces fit an how to place them. Came with gear wax so it could run smoothly. And great for killing time: took four days to make and that was in 3-4 hr bursts! It came with a small screw driver an wood piece to use as a hammer. Pros - Good quality sound an wood - Took a while so it was a good little project - instructions were clear an easy to read - Had spare pieces of some as they were fragile Cons - some pieces were a bit tricky to use - Some parts didn’t have spares - fragile so try not to force it down! - requires patience and a good Spotify playlist haha All and all WORTH EVERY PENNY! Best treat I ever got myself, and I (16yrs) managed to work it okay with a little difficulty (but in a good way)! Like their effiel tower! But it is a must have!

This is a gift so won't know till the jigsaw is built. It looks lovely in the box

Bought as a gift instead of the usual adult jigsaw. It was a great success from my point of view wanting to gift outside the box of standard puzzle stuff....Anyway I was treated to daily if not hourly updates and photos her partner was called in to get involved to assist in delicate operational assembly and final video of it complete and nicely playing starry night was celebrated with us all opening a bottle of wine.

The details drawn on the parts are washed out, the parts themselves are pretty flimsy. At time very difficult to construct and the flimsiness contributes to easy breaking.

It is more difficult to build than Lego but much more satisfying. It feel great working with wood and the end result is just amazing! We just didn't understand why the music is "Memories" from "Cats", when the moonlight sonata would have been more suitable for the solar system. Anyway, we are very happy and we want to buy the grand piano as our next project.

C'est une belle découverte que cette boite à musique et je me dis que j'irai bien voir les autres modèles proposés. Simple à monter, avec quelques pièces de rechanges en cas de casses. Bien pensé avec un beau résultat. Rien à redire de plus nous sommes ravis.

Esta vez lo he comprado para hacerlo y regalarlo. Fue la primera maqueta que hice, y ya no he parado de hacer maquetas. Cuando está terminado y le das cuerda los planetas empiezan a moverse cada uno de una forma, parece que bailan al compás de la música. Es muy completo, he hecho otros, todos preciosos pero este me enamoró, es en el que más piezas se mueven, los planetas. Y también cada planeta aporta un color diferente a la maqueta. Cuando le di cuerda por primera vez, con miedo de que no se moviera nada, y vi que sonaba y todo se movía, como he dicho, me enamoró.
