We love this mix. My husband hinted he wanted a soft serve machine so I bought the Dash machine and this. We used what someone suggested in the reviews. 1/3 cup mix 1 1/4 cup milk. We used 2% 1/2 cup heavy cream We churned it 25 minutes but that was a bit to long. It was hard coming out. 20 minutes would have been perfect. We froze the rest. My husband wanted it the next night. It was hard as a rock. He let it sit on counter for just a few minutes and it was soft serve again. This mix is flavorful, but if you want that vanilla strong then add a tiny bit of vanilla extract. We didn't add sugar for 2 reasons. 1- my husband is a diabetic 2 - It didn't need any. Tasted great just as we made it. This was a bit expensive but still worth it since it is a 6lb bag. Very easy to use. I bought airtight containers which makes it easier to get out. Quality was great. Would buy again.

Taste is great, but you do have to work on the texture if you’re not going to use the whole bag at once! I used 2 cups of mix and 2 cups of water first try and I was satisfied. Also, I would use milk next to get a creamy texture.

I love this mix. I whisk 3 TBSP mix with one cup of whole milk and put it in my little individual soft serve maker. The perfect chocolate soft serve to me. Just ordered my second bag and hope it's always available, cause yummm.

It's pretty good. If you want it icey you have to eat it as soon as the machine beeps and it's cold, tastes like soft serve. If it goes even 20 mins past- the consistency changes and it's more whipped like whip cream and less flavorful. Also, the instructions on the bag are to mix the entire bag in a large machine. If using a smaller countertop icecream maker, do the math for ounces or grams.

I have made this four different ways now and finally found the sweet spot. First, I have a Whynter compressor model ice cream maker so I do not have to chill any containers. The first time Imade this, I used 1 cup mix with 4 cups of heavy cream. The ice cream churned up to be very thick and kind of chewy. So, the next time I made it, I used 1 cup mix and 4 cups whole milk, but the texture was more like ice milk. This time, I used 1 cup mix with 2 cups whole milk and 2 cups heavy cream; and the fourth time I used 1 cup mix to 4 cups of half and half. The third time was the charm, so I recommend 1 cup mix to 2 cups heavy cream and 2 cups whole milk because it is the right consistency and texture. It took 50 minutes to freeze in my Whynter. Also, I put about a teaspoon of homemade vanilla in so it would kick up the vanilla flavor. The ratio of 1 cup mix to 4 cups liquid is just right to fit my ice cream maker’s pail without spilling over the top. It’s very easy to make ice cream with this mix. I like to eat it with a few amarena cherries and their syrup on top. It’s not overly sweet and tastes good.

I bought the Cotton Candy because I love candy candy flavor and was seeking a good flavor base for my Ninja Creami… Getting it, the color is cute and subtle and it’s easy to make. But it’s not actually very strong in that artificial cotton candy flavor I was expecting— It’s perhaps better! It tastes like Cereal marshmellows!! Not like Wanna-be Marshmellow… ACTUAL marshmellows you’d find in Lucky Charms or whatever. So if you’re wanting to provide Cotton Candy flavored ice cream, this isn’t it. But if you want Marshmellow or just a really tasty ice cream base for your sugar craving, YES YES YES to this one!! Frostline over all has never disappointed. I can highly recommend them. Great texture, taste, and easy on my gut since their products are lactose free. That’s a great selling point for me!

I purchased this particular item because it said "Countertop Ice Cream Maker, Soft Serve Machine", however, the package once received says: "for commercial soft serve machine only". There are no directions to condense the product for use in smaller machines. And it says to prep in a specific brand of bucket that was not shown or provided upon purchase.

I picked up this Frostline vanilla soft serve mix, and it’s been a hit with my family. They all really like the taste, and it turns out great in the machine. Nice classic vanilla flavor that everyone enjoys. One thing that stands out is the texture. Even after putting it in the freezer, it stays soft and scoopable instead of turning rock hard, which is really nice. I personally can’t eat it because of the sugar content, but based on how much the rest of the family enjoys it, it’s definitely a good product. Overall, if you’re looking for an easy soft serve option that keeps a great texture, this is a solid choice.

Tastes exactly like pumpkin pie. The orange colour makes you not want to try it, but it’s wonderful! I think it’s the best frost line soft serve flavour yet!

We made it with both milk and water for the lactose intolerant. Both were tasty. But the milk version was creamier. Both yummy!
