DAFNI The Original Hair Straightening Ceramic Brush - Styles Hair Up to 10 Times Faster Than a Flat Iron

I don't have the patience for a straight iron. This brush does a pretty excellent job of straightening my very wavy/somewhat curly hair. I can maneuver this brush around my head much easier than a straight iron and it doesn't take as long. I've not mastered bone straight hair with it, but perhaps in time I will.

I received the product in a good condition. I have medium thick, curly hair that gets frizzy and dry really fast. I have been using the Phillips straightener since a long time and it takes around 40 mins- 1hr to straighten my hair with it.I got this product last month and I really think it's so much easier to style my hair with it compared to flat iron straighteners. There are a couple of things I want to point out:USAGE: Firstly, a very important thing to remember is, although they say it's a brush, you're not supposed to use it as a brush! It only made my hair very dry and frizzy when I kept brushing it over and over! You're supposed to hold the section of hair and move the brush along the length REALLY SLOWLY just like you would with a flat iron straightener! It also heats up under 20 seconds and the temperature doesnt fluctuate throughout your straightening.RESULTS: I was able to straighten under 5 mins and the straightening stayed until I washed my hair the next day. You can straighten or style your hair inwards/outwards easily. The ends started to curl a little bit but that happens with my hair anyway when I straighten even with a flat iron. I applied a few drops of leave in conditioner serum after that because my hair gets very dry after straightening.PROS:So So SO fast and easy!It's very relaxing...compared to straighteners that make your hands acheIt doesn't give you small burns near your neck and forehead like flat irons!It's great for situations where you have no time to dress up (which is in most cases)Must have for working women and college going girls!CONS:I don't have many complaints. Just the price is a bit much but I needed the product and went for it anyway. Now that I'm using it I have realized the product is really worth it!Overall, I think this is a very good investment that saves time and effort in the long term. I received a defective unit, it turned on once and the next time my mom tried to use it the light would turn green, but it would not heat up. I reached out to the vendor who advised that although it was defective they would not refund because the 30 day period had passed. The unit was missing a prong and I did read in a review after the fact that they had the same issue. I was told to contact the manufacturer and that went no where either, as the website doesn't work. Never got refunded. This is a scam. Don't waste your money

Takes time to do short to medium wavy hair like say 20 minutes minimum. One cannot apply hair serums or anything before using dafni then it literally wont work. Once i applied loreal serum i felt i have to protect my hair from heat it took almost 20 minutes for my wavy hair and by the time i came downstairs back to old hair.. Didnt even last 15 minutes.. I was wondering what went wrong. Next time i took more segments and applied no serums nothing. And the effect lasted upto 2 hours only. Humidity in the air also plays a part. Anyways was it worth for 15k Noooo :( lesson learned!
