New England Coffee Chocolate Cappuccino Medium Roast Ground Coffee, 11oz Bag (Pack of 3)

The chocolate taste is very subtle but this is a smooth coffee that I can drink in a pour-over black without difficulty. So, for me, that is a big plus. A nice early morning boost of caffeine requiring little time to prepare. Arrived fresh and I keep it stored in an air-tight cannister. I have not tried the other varieties of coffee from this producer but they do have several.

This coffee has a smooth flavor to it, if you are the type to add cream and sugar, I suggest heavy whipping cream and a light amount of sugar to not ruin the blueberry flavor. It is not overpowering and has more of a hint of blueberry. Taking a smell of this before brewing was an upside to the normal gut-rot black tar I suffer though.

This is delicious coffee and it arrived in a timely manner. There is no bitter after taste and New England has a wonderful variety of flavors. The quality of this brand is top-notch!

I'm not a big coffee drinker but I do like the taste of this coffee. Love the hint of chocolate. Worth a try, especially if you aren't a huge fan of coffee.

The first time I brewed it and tasted it, it didn't taste anything like chocolate, just black coffee. I was really disappointed at first. The funny thing is that I was on a coffee ordering kick at the time and impulsively bought a few flavored coffees, and I actually bought another one of these just because of how seductive it looked and sounded, so I tried to cancel my order but it was too late. I stayed with it, though. The next time I tried the coffee was when it had cooled down, and I drank it with ice. Okay, I started tasting the chocolate then. Maybe it's just my taste buds, but if you like to drink ice coffee this is a moderate one, if you like the aroma of chocolate then this probably isn't for you, there isn't much of a smell to it, unless you're putting your nose into the thing and smelling it, there's little smell when it's brewing. Next time I put " too much " grinds into the filter, and tried it then, I could taste something of what the presentation gives off. On the scale of 1-5 in flavor power, this is a 3 if you put an extra scoop of coffee grinds in the filter, 2 if you don't. Maybe it was a bad batch, but mildly disappointed with the one I got.

This coffee is absolutely amazing! I was a bit reluctant to try it because it was so cheap but I figured I had nothing to lose. If it was bad I wasn't out much money. I was shocked that such inexpensive coffee could taste so great! The flavor is a rich medium roast that is very smooth with just a sublet hint of chocolate. I thought it would be weak because it was inexpensive so the first time I made it I added extra coffee. Big mistake! It is not a weak coffee. It is, in fact, a medium to French roast with a very smooth flavor. No bitterness. There is a subtle hint of chocolate so don't expect a big cocoa flavor. It's not there. The grains are small enough that I can use it in my coffeemaker and use it in my espresso machine. It made an excellent Latte. I highly recommend this recommend this coffee. My go to coffee is Starbucks Sumatra. This coffee definitely gives Starbucks a run for the money!
