Better mat than driving ranges
5'X5' premium mat. Super heavy-duty mat. Perfect size. Better than expected and better quality than local range mats. Thick rubber base and really good turf material for hitting irons. I have some carpal tunnel in wrist, and no shock issues hitting irons on this mat. No transferring of green material to club soles. Comes with 3 rubber tees for driver, 3 wood and one for using wooden tee (perfect). Ball tray is molded plastic and just fine. Mat might move a tiny bit with use on my deck floor - but no more than typical heavy mats on concrete that I hit on at a range. Pros: No issues with mat, tees, and tray. A professional grade home practice mat. Only con: Box is heavy and wasn't taped. One end was fully open. Had it been the opposite end, the tray and tees would probably have been lost

Great quality and takes a regular tee
I only got it delivered today. So far so good. My oldest kid is a practice devil. Heโs already hit 350 balls and he hits the ball hard. I managed to hit another 150 and my daughter hit 100 more. Mat looks untouched. No green stuff under the clubs, we weโre able to use a regular tee to hit drivers too. It feels good when you catch the ball right. The club leading edge can get a little under the ball, almost a divot like sensation. The only downside is that the plastic ball tray is flimsy and not very big. Weโre already replacing that. Update Oct 7th 2023. Weโve had it a few months and on average my family hit about 250 golf shots a day. The mat is virtually unscathed. Very hard wearing, zero fibers have come out, no marks on anyoneโs clubs. We have a range of players. Big kid, 220lbs who hits his 7 iron 200 yards with power, me a smaller guy who hits 7 irons 165 and my wife and daughter who hit 7 irons about 120. They both hit a few more fat shots. I mention this as itโs not pure strikers. No one has complained about wrist pain, I havenโt noticed the club gripping in the turf when โtaking a divotโ. Itโs not the same as hitting off grass, nothing is, but itโs great for what it is, a mat for hitting golf shots.

Great quality mat.
I like the thickness of the mat, however, it is quite light weight for a mat of this size (5'x5') and thickness. I was expecting a little more heft. Due to being so light, it does tend to shift after a few hits on a concrete garage floor...no big deal i guess, more of an annoyance. I solved that problem by using some of that nonslip rug material underneath to help prevent it from shifting. That's the only knock I have. The light weight does make it easy to move around, since I still have to get the cars inside without parking directly on top of the mat. Other than that, good quality so far after hitting ~100 balls. No melted plastic on my irons either. Soft and cushy under foot and can use real tees but still punishes fat shots...Don't judge me!

Heavy, well built solid mat, weighs 30 lbs, not 3.
I've taken about 500 or so shots off the mat so far with an iron, wedge or hybrid, all on the same spot, and it shows no signs of wear. It feels good to stand on. Not like natural turf, but still comfortable and not too soft. You will feel secure taking a full swing. I like that you can put a tee in the turf itself, although it does have 4 holes for tee holders. It's a high quality mat that I expect will last a long time.

Decent mat
With my only frame of reference being six months of hitting off the $200 GoSports Elite, I am much happier with this mat. Reviews are all over the place for these mats, I wish you more luck than I had knowing what to believe. I haven't noticed any green residue on my clubs, so I don't think durability is going to be an issue in anything other than a commercial application. Down-and-through would be an exaggeration of my experience with this mat, however there is certainly more forgiveness that my last mat. If you are looking for something that allows you to take a 1" beaver pelt of a divot, this ain't it. There are more 'tufty' options available that would allow you to bury your irons, but I didn't want to sacrifice putting on my simulator or enable me to sky a three-wood into the ceiling. Would be nice if they offered something without the pre-drilled holes for the tee right smack in the prime location, but the plug is intact to reduce the cosmetic irritation. This is the top end of my budget, and my sore wrist isn't screaming so far, so I think it's going to be a keeper.

Top notch commercial quality golf mat
Purchased this to replace a mat I had been using for over ten years. The old mat was very durable but after ten years+ it was obviously showing wear and it was hard to find a flat spot on it anymore. Purchased this mat and couldn't be happier. It is VERY high quality and I can see this thing lasting me another ten years. The bonus with this mat is that it has MUCH better cushioning than the old one so less vibration on the elbows and forearms when the ball is hit properly... I highly recommend this product and would purchase it again in a heartbeat...

Thick, durable, and comfortable. Also nice grass like action for fat hits.
This is thicker than I expected. I really like the feel. It is new so we'll see how it holds up under a lot of use. My golf shoes were leaving a slight imprint so I use it now with only my socks on. It's very comfortable that way and really allows for a nice setup and pivot. According to my launch monitor I have only hit about 1,500 balls so far - so its too early to tell, but you cannot really tell where I am striking the mat yet or where I am standing. (I am 5'11" 200 lbs) very resilient. Heavy mat - I am using it indoors. Living in the desert I was not sure how it would hold up to the heat in the summer (110 deg) or the rain - yes we get rain. I have tried other mats outdoors and they were much much thinner and came apart (turf and rubber bottom separation) This appears that it will last a very long time. I use it every day. When I hit the fat shot it holds up very well. It does not bounce the club but lets it go through the swing. Very nice (not that I hit a lot of fat shots) They were out of the rubber tees and only sent a short one and long one. But they stuck a note in the box to let me know at least - perhaps they'll get around to sending me the third rubber tee. I have not tried to use a wooden tee yet but imagine it will bot be an issue due to the thickness fo the grassy may.

Great way to practice at home
Great feeling, seems sturdy enough, nothing is coming off on my clubs. Has holes for rubber tees, but I found regular tees work fine. Perfect size A little awkward to move around and store
