These are sharp and as durable as any other spikes I have purchased here. I use them for art and other products, so they do not see the same use as they would in a shoe. The threads seem to fit slightly different from brand to brand, but I have never had an issue with function. They are easy to use. I buy these repeatedly and have been satisfied with the product. They are a good value and much less expensive than the "name brands"
