I didn’t find any gaskets or crush washers in my package. Was their suppose to be?

Yes the oil filter box should contain the washers

Will this work for a 2015 R1? What is the difference? I didn’t see it was for 2016 until too late.

Can't quite help ya but I got a 18 mt10 and the filter was shorter and the crush washer was different. I already had that luckily but needed some oil.

Yamalube is the ONLY oil for my YXZ!

I have only used full synthetic Yamalube going back to my 2007 Raptor GYTR. I religiously change my oil per the manufacturer's guide and document it for the Yamalube Warranty (20 yrs or 100K miles). It can be tedious and I now there are limitations, but if I have a core component failure, I'll have all of my ducks in a row and get it covered. Good price on this YXZ motor and transmission change "kit".

Manual calls for 3 liters in engine but I ended up well over 3. About 3.5. Just heads up. Transmission took 2 liters.
