Thank you, My pool was clear before I put this in. that stuff doesn't dissolve. Have to use clarifier after using this product?

Dump into a bucket of water from pool and dissolve then walk around pool adding the contents of bucket into your pool, if you stir the shock in bucket for a few minutes it dissolves.

Can i use it for salt system? i heard we cant shock salt pools with calcium products

It is recommended you dissolve the shock in a bucket of water first, this product is very good when opening pool, green water. The salt System will not clear the water by It self.

Is this good for vinyl pools?

Use Leslie's Chlor-Brite for long term pool maintenance. Pow Pow is strong enough to kill algae, but may ruin vinyl pools. You may use Pow Pow a few times a year for vinyl pool, but it is not recommended as it may ruin the vinyl lining. If you do use it, brush it around until it dissolves. I service pools for a living.
