Clover "Hana-Ami" Flower Loom 6 Shape Set, Pink/Blue (3146)

I hesitated to buy this due to some negative reviews, but my experience with Clover tools has been very good, so I decided to get the Hana-Ami anyway. This loom combo is excellent. What I like: 1. Six looms that all nest together in one closed container. 2. Each loom fits onto the base individually, and the base has slots and notches to hold yarn tails. No trouble keeping a grip on the small circle and square. 3. Compared to other looms, these have more pegs. More pegs allows more options and fuller motifs when using thinner yarns, raffias, strings, whatever. The pegs are as tall as on other looms I have, so I don't know why others have trouble keeping loops on. The Hana-Ami's pegs are slightly tapered, which helps if you want to transfer loops to adjacent pegs (which you might do while weaving petals, for example, to taper the petal points). 4. This set comes with a centre peg that can be used on the base when making partial circles or squares or hexagons. The woven fan shape, a quarter circle, in the instructions could make dangles for earrings or an interesting pendant on a necklace. 5. Comes with a plastic needle with a curved tip. 6. Detailed instructions inside, and you can always find a lot more ideas for small looms at knitting-and dot com. 7. Includes approximate length of yarn needed for one pass around each loom. You know in advance if that scrap of leftover yarn is long enough to be useful. Actually, just about anything is long enough to be used in a flower centre. I say ignore the naysayers and give this set a try. I doubt you'll regret it.

I’dbeen trying to come up with an alternative to Pom poms for hats. I can never get them tied tight enough, and am able to easily pull strands of yarn out. This loom makes a great little flower that won’t come apart and doesn’t have to be removed for washing!! Once you get the hang of it it’s very simple to use!!

Why I haven't had time to try out the loom yet it seems well constructed as are most Clover products. It comes with instructions on how to use if I have any questions I go to ytube. I would recommend this product. I will purchase again for family, friends or myself if I lose any pieces.

I love this thing because all the pieces are contained within the unit. There aren't six tiny hoops floating around - it's brilliantly designed in that way. The end results are quite nice - a flower with the same size petals, which is actually quite difficult to do without tools. I wish the instructions were clearer. I was not able to read the instructions and get a general idea of how it worked. I had to actually do the actions as I read to see what I was doing. Some of that is the size of the pictures included (quite small). But there are online tutorials available.

I stumbled across this product through a blog that I found via pinterest. A little convoluted of a discovery but it's fabulous. I wanted to make a little flower to put on my cousin's bridal shower gift because the store wrapping job, although better than what I would've done, was a little too impersonal for me. I've not used a loom before but it was simple, and I used the instructions for a basic flower that came in the packaging. I made a nice little white flower with a purple center using used some red heart 100% acrylic yarn scraps that I had around the house. I look forward to playing around with this soon once some other, bigger to-do's are done.

This loom is basically exactly what it looks like / claims it is. There is the base where the loom pieces fit into so that you have a steady piece to hold onto and work with (also makes it handy for when you want to use two sizes together as you can attach one of the larger pieces and smaller ones at the same time). The directions for a basic flower are easy to follow, though this loom has plenty of uses beyond that. I provided a picture showing how I made two different flowers. Once was made looping wire around the loom and then wrapping the center with yarn, the other is just yarn woven on the loom. You could knit on it though there are no notches on the pegs to hold the yarn so it'd not be the ideal loom for that. Searching online will find you much better directions than the simple short ones than come with it. If there is a negative to this, it's that the plastic needle seems a bit flimsy. It has taken my abuse so far, but I do keep worrying that I am going to break it. I'll likely replace it with a metal one. The plastic dome cover keeps everything together nicely. I'm definitely not sorry that I bought it.

Ottimo articolo, i vari telai sono semplici da utilizzare. Si possono creare fiori molto belli, basta cambiare colore e spessore del filato e la varietà di modelli che si possono ottenere è pressochè infinita. Assolutamente da avere!

lo compre por curiosidad mas que otra cosa, acompañando como capricho adicional a otro pedido que sí tenía previsto pues ahora estoy fascinada con el cacharrito, reciclando viejas cintas de audio y video que iban a ir a la basura y convirtiéndolas en bonitos adornos! el aparato está pensado para lanas y cintas decorativas pero con un momento de inspiración probé con la cinta de audio y me quedó una flor super original y monísima, ahora no puedo parar, todos mis amigos y familiares van a tener adornos ecológicos y artesanales para sus fiestas de por vida!

Para las personas sin habilidades o con pocas habilidades manuales, es un gran auxiliar para hacer flores de estambre y otros materiales. Ampliamente recomendado.

This is an excellent product, and also comes with FULL instructions thru various stages of learning to do flower looms. I love this product and i can combine my knitting, cardmaking, flower looms all together. Comes complete with sewing needle and cover to keep looms together all in one place. Excellent delivery service, i would recommend this product to anyone off any age. No problems with this product it is perfect in anyway. Happy Looming x
