A good quality brush washer, not very big but useful for small/medium brushes. The inner lining is very useful for running the brush over the holes and separating the sediment from the main solvent, and seems to clean the bristles very efficiently, and there is also a small lip on one side, just below the rim, for dragging the bristles over also. Only two clamps, but I haven’t noticed any leakage and the rubber seal on the inside of the lid seems to do the job well as well as the stiffness of the clamps. Good quality stainless steel, feels strong and expensive, and stainless!

I bought this to wash my oil paint brushes after seeing Bob Ross's Joy of painting programmes and he was using something similar. However, this thinners holder is an awful lot smaller, and not suitable for the 2 inch brush used in doing a lot of the landscape artworks Bob Ross does. This thinners holder is made well and will be good for small brushes, so I am keeping it, but I did expect it to be bigger considering the price!

Just taken up oil painting and this is ideal for cleaning the brushes. It has like a removable strainer in the bottom so the oil paint dregs sink through that and just leaves clean thinners above. All you do then is drain off the clean thinners to use again , remove the drainer and clean the old paint with kitchen roll. It also has an airtight lid so the thinners don’t dissolve away. Very good piece of equipment.

I bought this for my Art GCSE son a while ago and thought I would leave a review. He says it's a brilliant piece of kit and really enjoys using it. It's 100% watertight, so once closed, even if you knock it over nothing spills out/leaks, which is hugely appreciated. Buy with confidence.

Works well with small brushes though not the long ones

Tin is good, and perfectly useful for smaller paint brushes. Dimensions are listed on the product page, but as an image, not part of the product description. While I can use it, I still need to purchase a larger one because brushes around an inch in size become difficult to clean. Opening for brushes is less than 7cm, then you need room to move it about to remove the paint from the bristles. Would still recommend it for people who don't need to clean broader brushes.
