really good this product is excellent lovely and cool so happy with it as soon as i bought it then it got colder and rainier days but i am all ready for when it gets hot

I bought this during the heat wave for my daughters bedroom. Firstly it is a fan and not a cooler so does not cool the temperature of the room but it cools down the skin by blowing over the subtle moisture of your skin. So for those who said it doesn't cool down the room, no it won't, you need air con or a cooler for that. This does work well, the settings are more useful than I thought, especially the child setting. Once you try them out you get to know what works best for your needs. In our room we tended to use it on full just because it was just so hot. In our daughters we used the child setting. Her room is tiny. Some people said it was a gimmick that it shows the temperature. I actually found it really useful, especially in a kids room. It's so important that they don't over heat and knowing the temperature really is a great start. Plus I think it's interesting to know anyway. It seems fairly accurate as mostly matched our other digital thermometer. Although, I don't think it's exact, it's close enough to get a rough gauge of the situation. Noise-wise it's not silent or even a whisper. But it's also not overbearing. It's not loud. It's what you expect from a fan and definitely quieter from our other previous fans. It didn't keep our daughter up where as we have another different one that scares her. So it's an improvement from that. I guess it depends on your expectations. Fine for us. Actually I like the sound, it's a bit like white noise, waves lapping against a shore line. A good imagination helps! All in all it did the job. I liked the little hole to keep the remote control in. Easy to set up. I don't think it would do much if you were more than a couple of meters from it really so not for a huge room maybe. And the lights go off after a while which to some might be a good thing but to me it means if I want to change the setting or turn it off or up in the night then I have to turn a light on to see what I'm doing. I'd have preferred light up buttons that you can keep on if required but that's just being picky and actually I'm really happy so far with this fan and would but again.

Great fan overall, good amount of functions, not too loud, easy to put together and it's not too loud when running (noticeable, but not "in your face") and, most importantly, it pushes air about. My main gripe with it is, everytime you change something, switching on/fan speed/oscillation etc... you get a very loud beep (like a playstation switching on), which isn't ideal as there's no mute function. Other than that, absolutely spot on

I bought this fan for my daughter for her bedroom when her Dimplex fan started making a noise (after several years of regular use). All fans seemed to be in short supply and although this was one of the only suitable (with a remote control) and readily available fans I was impressed by the description, especially the mention of "ultra powerful" and "cooling fan" and seeing the temperature display I thought (although technically I questioned it based on the design and at this price) it might at least match the performance of our original fan. Unfortunately, it falls way short. I put the fan in the same position as the original Dimplex fan but it just doesn't perform as well as the previous fan. If I had an option I would return it but as there are no other suitable fans available I have to keep it. As soon as I can get hold of a Dimplex fan I will be replacing it. My daughter wants me to reinstate the old fan even though it is squeaking and rattling and is obviously suffering with a mechanical issue.

Excellent product. I've gotten 2 of these, one white and one black. I've been using the white one for over a year, so far so good. Don't expect high blow power, it's a tower fan.
