The cage is just fine & our two Budgies use it as their home-base in our little sunroom. We keep the doors open on it so they can come & go. It has 2 huge doors & several small doors for the supplied food & h20 dishes to hang from. The toys that come extra are high quality. The long flexible, hold its shape ladder is like $12 if purchased by itself. We use it outside the cage so they have a jungle gym on top. This cage is extremely inexpensive compared to a pet shop. Perches are just fine. I roughed them up with sandpaper because a bit smoothe. I wouldn't want to try & grip them all night long. I use a branch & only one that came with cage. Birds feet need different sizes. The smaller toys are actually played with. My budgies chew on them but don't chew them up. I took out wire grate & I just line with paper so I can easily clean in 60 secs everyday. I wouldn't recommend any bird bigger than a cockatiel & thats pushing it. Really any cage for Budgies or cockatiels should be minimal 18×18 wide & long. Height is no big deal unless you have finches. They're not hellocopters & prefer something wide. Our birds are tame & are out a few hours a day so this is perfect. BTW. I researched & this cage from this seller is the least expensive as of today 12 17 2021. Others sell it but this person has the best price on Amazon. It arrived super super fast even though at the time I don't think it was on Amazon Prime. It arrived in 3 days. I was able to easily track it. One small thing was missing & seller mailed it to me overnight. Amazing seller! I would buy again BUT If I had the room in my house I'd buy one 18/18 but they are much more expensive & I just don't have the room It has handles so I can quickly take it outside to clean or on a warm day so my birds can get vitamin d. Its light not heavy. The top does not open but my birds just climb out & sit on top. Opening a top is just one extra step I'd rather not do. The only con is the width but you'll find most cages are the same or smaller or crazy expensive. Forgot to mention its cute compared to a basic box cage. The top looks like a house which makes the top not as wide & not as good for the bird but looks better in my wife's sunroom & if momma ain't happy nobody is happy. You will not find this particular cage cheaper on Amazon......easy easy easy to put together! Sorry 4 typos I'm in a hurry! 🐦

Very nice tall roomy home for my two parakeets. Several doors and places for feed cups. Well made including the removable plastic bottom tray. Large cage for the cost.

On the plus side, this cage was really a good value for the money. The same price cages at Petsmart were really tiny. Not only is it spacious, it came with toys, perches, feeders, and swing so it had everything a little bird needs. One big caution to prevent escapes, the doors don't just fall closed with gravity like my other birds cages, they have a metal piece that keeps the door open or secures it closed. On one side that's good because you don't need to secure it with an extra clip or anything it stays securely shut. On the bad side, there are a lot of doors on the cage and if in picking it up etc you accidentally don't push the doors down, the door stays open. I had to check the doors several times to make sure none were open. Also, I wish I had known that you can't really hang it by the handle. My fault but I didn't see there was a newer version of this with hangable handles and a stand, it would have worked much better for me. I move my budgies from their indoor cage to an outdoor cage and hang it in a tree in the back yard, so the little things can get some outside time. This does not ship with a rolling stand and the handle does not seem meant for hanging, it would be lopsided if you tried, and I don't know that I trust the top to not come off if it was hanging for some time. I will hopefully be able to find a stand for it that holds it down, it's so tall it really could tip quite easily.

This cage is perfect for our lovebird who needed more space and a well made cage. Easy to assemble and wonderfully equipped with perches, food cups and toys. The price was amazing! Make sure you have room for this tall and well appointed beauty!

The cage came on time, the package was a bit damaged. But the cage itself survived okay. It took me about 20min to snap all main pieces on places and another hour to figure out the right disposition for perches, toys and feeding boxes. The perches look a tad too wide and bend a bit the sides, so I put them kind of diagonally. I bought it as an add-on cage for my 3 female rats, and it would be too small floor-space wise for them, but works okay as a "second room", connected to the Kaytee cage we have already. The things I like about this cage are wide doors and the fact that they are on three sides of the cage. It hepled me to connect the cages without clipping any bars. I discarded the wire bottom part and filled the tray with crumpled and crinked paper for my rats to dig in. The Kaytee cage has a bit deeper tray, but the one this cage has works too. It has to be glued or otherwise secured though so that the rats won't try to escape by pushing it out (mine didn't so far). The tray itself is plastic, so not chew-proof. I wouldn't recommend it if your pet is on a chewy side, or you may look for metal add-on here. The plastic feeding boxes fit okay, but they look flimsy. I put one with water on the lower level, and saved other for later. Looks like the rats like to drink from it, but they enjoy standart water bottles too. The climbing ladder and the perches are wide enough for my rats to run on them, but my rats are younger females, more agile. For older males they may be too narrow. The toys, I put one and saved another for later. Looks like it distracted my rats from chewing the ladder (one ball has its marks already though). The cage walls as climbing space are okay, and the gaps are just okay for my purpose. So, it may work out for younger rats, but only if you have another cage or cages to connect it to, and also a ton of additional toys, hideouts, climbing ledges and shelves for your pets. For the price (I paid about $30+shipping) it could be a good deal to buy two and place them back-to-back, connecting with some metal zip ties, to create more floor space and more volume. Then it may fit two to three females perfectly.

This cage is big and nice. (ITS COMES WITH THE TOYS IN THE PICTURE). It's wide and this is so worth the price! I think you should get this if you have a few parakeets and more!

Was pretty simple to put together. Better with 2 people. Love all the doors. Makes it easy to clean and get to things.

My daughter, 14, researched and chose this for the bird she will be getting. It is everything she wanted and more . She is very knowlegeable and particular about all things with animals and she loves this and is busily getting it ready for a budgie. WE felt it was well priced esp. with the extra toys and seems sturdy and well designed.

It was so easy to build and it’s so big and gorgeous! I love the almond colour, it makes the colours of my birds really pop. There’s so much room in there for my birds to fly around and it came with several food and water dishes and toys which I didn’t expect! Especially for the price. It’s beautiful.

Be careful with the color. It looks pink in the photos, but is described as almond and is definitely more beige- not pink at all! Overall a good bird cage though.

Nous l'aimons beaucoup, elle ne prend pas trop de place a la base, seulement en hauteur. Les perruches peuvent voler dans la cage. Nous avons mit plein de jeux et de cachette. Je recommande cet achat
