Will this work on a shower drain on a second floor?

Yup, just used it to pull a 1.5" diameter wad of hair out of our second-floor shower. The wand is just the right stiffness--flexy enough to bend through a trap, but not so floppy that you can't push it through. I thought the crank looked kinda gimmicky but I tried it once just pushing it down the drain and cranking a little bit, and then a second time whaling away on the crank, and trust me... CRANK IT. No longer showering in a inch of standing water--yay!
