I paid £15.99 for this lamp, and the quality has far surpassed my expectations. I have my nails done professionally every 3 weeks, but I do a lot with my hands and I'm quite hard on my nails. I bought this because I scratched and dulled my nails doing DIY one day after I'd had them done, and wanted to refresh them with new topcoat without having to go to the salon and pay. It worked a treat! I gave shiny, perfect nails again. In terms of build quality, it is lightweight plastic, but anyone who has been to a nail salon will know that even the professional lamps are plasticky and light. This lamp looks fairly aesthetically pleasing, and the bottom is a detachable sheet of metal which makes it easier to do toenails for example, as you can just remove the bottom and pop the lamp over your foot rather than having to slide your foot inside. It's quite compact but cured my nails in exactly the same time, and just as well, as the lamps in the nail shops do. Overall I'm very impressed for the price, plus a fiver for base oat and topcoat (also purchased on Amazon). I've just bought this so I can't comment on its longevity, but for £15 I have no complaints so far.

For years I’d tried to do my own gel nails, and for years it was so disastrous I’d have to pick them straight off and give up. I had one of the first style UV lamps, however when they cured they weren’t even and ended up over the sides of my nails. Then I bought this lamp! Wow! I know I’m not the best at doing my nails, but I’m seriously thrilled at how these have turned out to say this is my first successful attempt! The instructions are a little confusing, so just to be safe I did 120 seconds, which the lamp does itself. It turns off after the time is done, but will automatically switch on once it sensors a hand under there. I’ve only done my hands so far so can’t comment on if my feet will get in there comfortably as it’s quite a small lamp. It’s certainly nice and compact, and looks well made too. The only thing I will say, and I’m not sure if I’m too blame, but my finger tips did feel a bit painful when first in there but wasn’t too bad for long. There is a painless low power function though. Overall definitely worth the money! Gel nail varnish used was from the Beetle unicorn Pink (a628) collection

The product itself is functional - it's reasonably well built, it's a good size, there are plenty of LEDs, and it does cure things properly. But the 150W rating is a complete lie, so I'm knocking off a star because the seller chose to mislead customers. However, as I'll get into below, this doesn't actually matter. The device comes with a 24 volt, 1 amp adapter. For those of you who aren't electronics engineers, power is voltage times current, so 24V x 1A = 24W. That's an absolute maximum. It isn't physically possible for this device to draw 150W because the power supply can only supply it with 24W. That's one sixth of the claimed 150W rating, which is repeated on the box. You might not believe me, but this is actually kinda good news. A 150W UV LED curing lamp would be horrendously overpowered and pretty bad for your skin and eyes. I bought this knowing full-well that it was not going to be anything like 150W (my guess was 30W) because you only need a few tens of watts to cure nail stuff under UV. Don't chase after high wattage curers. It's pointless. The dodgy power rating made me additionally suspicious when I saw that the light from it is a very bright white. UV should be invisible to the eye, but most UV LEDs don't output just UV, so they'll glow a deep purple when you look at them. Looking at the LEDs in this curer, I noticed they have a yellow phosphor coating on the front, which is unusual for UV. What this means is that the LEDs are "PC UV", which output a lot of visible light and a little bit of UV, making them quite inefficient compared to "direct emitter" UV LEDs. However, due to the sheer number of them, and the total power rating, they do actually still kick out more than enough UV. To test things out, I compared this curer to a cheap USB one that uses direct emitter LEDs. Curing a single coat of nail gel polish for 60 seconds resulted in a noticeably less sticky/tacky result on this unit than the USB one. A second test for 90 seconds (on new test nails) resulted in a completely cured and non-tacky nail with this curer, but a slightly tacky nail on the old USB one. So it seems that the fake power rating and inefficient LEDs don't actually matter - there's still more than enough UV to do the job. The main thing I noticed with this one is that it gets quite warm inside, due to the inefficient LEDs. In terms of the build quality, it's actually pretty good. There's strain relief on the cables, the housing is made out of a strong but reasonably flexible plastic, the LEDs are well distributed around the inside, and the base is a front-facing type metal mirror (vs. glass back-facing mirrors which have low UV reflectance) which is a good choice here, and the base clips on with magnets that are strong enough to hold it in place but not so strong that it's annoying to take it off. All in all, if I wasn't an electronics nerd I probably wouldn't have known that the specs were a total fake, because it does the job fine.

Easy to use! Works really well. Had no problems at all and it was very good value for money.

So much better than I thought it would be. Different settings, reading manual is essential so those of you who do your nails at home, please read. Came perfectly wrapped and safe and my gels haven't looked so good

I do not recommend for professional use. Sensors are not working properly, the lights are switching off even with the timer set.

Makes curing nails so easy. You can fit your whole hand under the LEDs and they are perfectly positioned inside to cure the thumb nails too. Simple to use with just the push of a button or even better put hand straight under lamp and sensors automatically activate the light. Watch the timer count up or push a button for a count down and lamp automatically deactivates. Excellent value for money and cures all gel types. Also comes with a magnetic base which reflects the light back up for all round curing. Perfect.

it is broke already i have had it 2 months and hardly used its as i only do my own nails when plugged in the wire is temperamental it turns of and you have to wiggle the wire and it keeps not working other then that i have loved it
