Very nice, easy-to-use kitchen faucet
I've had this faucet only a couple of weeks, but I'm finding it very functional and easy to use. Some reviews faulted the location of the spray button, and having to turn it inward to use the spray, but I am having no problems using it. This Grohe faucet is a replacement for a very sleek and very expensive gooseneck faucet that sprayed water all over my island countertop. This lower-profile faucet is much less messy; the stream of water stays in the sink. So far, I'm very pleased with my decision to swap my old faucet for this one.

Good low-profile faucet replacement for previous Grohe, but not the same.
After 11 years, we needed to replace our low-profile Grohe kitchen faucet. Hard water buildup impacted pivot range and every day use wore out the top rubber spray button. Due to space constraints, I wanted another low-profile pull-out faucet with a long sprayer hose that could also pivot between dual sinks. I researched many kitchen faucets of all brands and the search led back to Grohe and the Eurosmart faucet. Positives: faucet height, hose length, smooth pivot, gentle water stream and strong spray, price compared to other high-end brands. Negatives but not deal breakers: max 90 degree pivot, finish shows water spots, plastic parts, escutcheon sold separately. Not wanting to DIY, we had a plumber install the faucet. The one hiccup was tightening the plastic parts anchoring the escutcheon to the sink, which left a small gap on the right side that I filled with clear silicone. Compared to our old Grohe faucet, the Eurosmart has a thinner flat handle, lighter narrow pull-out sprayer with bottom toggle button, and heavier braided hose. The Grohe Eurosmart faucet meets my needs, and overall, I'm satisfied with its modern design and function.

Great faucet and great seller.
We need a low profile faucet. This is a nice looking faucet that works very well. The spray feature is nice. The seller sent the faucet quickly with no problems.

DO NOT BUY GROHE 3036DC1. IT DOESN'T WORK
I am surprised that a reputable company like Grohe would let this faucet go to market. It is nonfunctional, messy, and impractical: 1. When in spray mode, water hits with such direct, narrow force that it bounces off dishes, hands, and sink, and sprays all over the kitchen, counter and floor, as well as nearby humans. 2. Unlike spray mode, stream mode has so little water pressure it is impossible to rinse anything--hands, sponge, dishes, sink, anything. 3. The spray and stream controls under the faucet head are impossible to use. You've got to contort your hand in an uncomfortable way, or use two hands to switch between modes. 4. The shape of the faucet doesn't fit the human hand. It is narrow, angular, and uncomfortable. 5. The faucet head fits into the base only one precise and awkward way--have to fuss with it endlessly to get it to fit. So, after spending a lot of money buying and having it installed, I've got to find--and pay for-- one that actually works. I don't like giving such a negative review, but I hope it helps others avoid this terrible product.

The pull out sprayer doesn't align automatically when retracted
I hope I just got a defective faucet. If not, this is very poorly designed. It looks good in pictures but the sprayer would retract fine but would not line up with the rest of the faucet so it looked sloppy. I returned it and bought a delta.

Its a faucet
Faucet looks great and easy to install but the water pressure isnt as strong as you would expect, not sure if thats my fault for not checking the specifications or if its manufacturer issue but either way its a nice faucet. Sturdy metal and not that cheap plastic junk most stores sell.

I read so many bad reviews of other faucets, but this one is great!
This faucet is easy to use, has good water pressure, and looks good. It doesn't stay in spray mode - after you turn it off, you need to press the button again to spray. But the button is easy to use. This is a basically solid faucet. My last one (only two years old - Delta) leaked, had bad pressure, was hard to get in spray mode, basically sucked.

Good faucet but the 1.75 GPM flow rate is annoying.
The faucet shipped and arrived quickly, no issues. This is to replace an 11-year old existing Grohe Curve faucet that the sprayer has long been not working and recently developed a leak. This new Grohe Eurosmart is very similar. The supply lines are not marked hot/cold so it was a guess during installation. The pictorial instruction is ok, but I'd rather have words to go along with it. The "Supersteel" finish is said to be smudge free. Well, it is not. I still see finger prints and water marks on it. And I've decided not to use the sprayer too much since the last one didn't last very long. These are all very very minor issues and I wouldn't deduct any stars. The most annoying thing is the 1.75 GPM water flow rate compared to the old Grohe of 2.2 GPM. It makes a heck of a difference when filling a pot or the watering can. Whose dim bulb idea is this anyway. I'd give it a 5-star review if the water flow is better. Hope this helps.

Great faucet
Works as intended and I very much like the fast flow of water as it void of air and nearly silent. Spray feature has great pressure. This model does not come with a base plate to cover existing hot and cold water tap holes but my installer was able to reuse the existing one.

Nice looking & well made
Bought this because it sits low enough for me to open my shutters to be able to clean the window after my kitchen reno. It has a nice finish & feels solidly well made.
