This thing is super awesome! I use this tool to weld broken plastic parts on my aging Volkswagen. How many times have you thrown something away because the plastic is broken? It comes with a carrying case that's slender and won't take up much room. I wound up take all of the welding staples out of the case and I keep them in a separate bag. It's hard to fit the plastic welder and all the stapled that come with it neatly back into the box after your first project. I got mine in bright orange so I don't lose sight of it among my tools when I have to spread out my work area. This is actually fun to use! Takes a little practice but it is easy to use.

Great little invention that lets you mend broken plastic pieces without glue by melting little staple like metal pieces to join the broken or cracked pieces together. Easy to use and reasonably priced. Comes with its own carrying case, good addition to fix it tools!!

This thing rocks! I was able to fix a dog travel kennel that had been cracked and broken and I didn't want to have to get a new one. It worked awesome. You can see the pictures for that. Then I also fixed one of my kid's car track pieces that was broken too. I feel like this is versatile enough to fix pretty much anything in plastic, which is great. You just have to use the right wire that comes with it but it worked really well.

The snippers are absolutely worthless, you'll need to have a better pair. The welder itself is great! Solid repairs.

This is a unique product. For years, I have tried to glue broken plastic together. Even hot glue doesn't work very well. This item, in many situations, can give you a sturdy fix for your broken plastic. It uses a mechanical support, melted into the plastic. These wire supports are quite sturdy and inflexible, just what you need. Possibly won't work in every sitiuation, but useful to have around the shop along with your other tools.

I bought this to help with assembling 3D printed plastic pieces. It comes with a variety of "staple" shapes for different situations. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. The included wire cutters are a bit weak because they're small. They're convenient because they fit in the case nicely, but I grabbed my normal size wire cutters and it was much easier to snip off the ends.

Straighforward operation. Simple to use and effective.

Came with a euro plug had to cut off and wire in a new plug works great tho worth the money

Works so well !! Heats the wites quickly, comes with a sizable supply of wires. Amazing value for the price. Fixed motorcycle fairings for 2 old bikes, including narrow tabs that i thought were unfixable.

This does the job really well but as others have said it is supplied with a 2 pin plug so you will either need an adapter or cut off the supplied plug and wire your own. Really should be provided with the right plug if it is being sold in the UK. Update; after using on several occasions I now have a new favourite toy!!
