Is this knife full tang?

Simple science, the knife is steel. I used a magnet to try and determine the dimensions of the tang. I speculate that the tang is a trapezoid shape. On the spine side of the blade, the tang goes back the furthest, about 1 inch. On the cutting edge side, it is shorter goes back about 5/8 of an inch. I didn't try to be precise, so let's say ± 1/8 inch.

Can you sharpen this knife?

Yes, I easily sharpen mine at home with a diamond sharpener. Using 4 different grits ---200, 300, 400, 600, I can quickly & easily get it razor sharp. So sharp it will cut just by touching it. I use a steel for touch ups in between. I've used it daily for the past 9 years and it still looks and performs perfectly. Since it is so small and I use it all the time I hand wash it. Just need to be careful not to cut up the sponge/dishcloth. It holds it edge well but like I mentioned it is a daily workhorse in my kitchen so in order to keep it super sharp I give it a quick touch up sharpening weekly. If you don't care if your knives are razor sharp or don't use it daily, sharpening once every month or 2 would probably be adequate.

Does it come with a sheath?

No, it does not come with a sheath. It is a very sharp, excellent paring knife.

Two questions: is the handle long enough to be comfortable? In your experience, did it take 1- 2 months to ship (as they now say) using Amazon Prime?
