Look. Let's be real. It's a novelty kitchen tool. It's fun. It's designed for kids. And it functions. Great. But...It is cheaply made. Not the 1 penny china made temu product. But it's a plastic tool. Which by nature it not glass or metal. But saying that, it is thick plastic. Arms wobbly though. However, I'm still happy with the purchase. It's not supposed to be a everyday item. It's a tool that's supposed to make smores more accessible to us city folks while making if more safe and fun for kids to particpate in the cooking process. It does that. Something that not be possible if it was any another material besides thick plastic. Possibly might buy again for another present in the future.

The product works. Don't get me wrong, other than making a product that does what it says, it's a pain. The tool itself is in my experience cheaply made. I'm talking i had to return it because it came broken then my 2nd one came fine, after one use them arm broke off. It's cheaply made plastic. For a quick s'more in the microwave it does the job. But honestly grabbing a stick or fork and building the smore on the stove burner feels like a better way.

My brother loves making s'mores in the microwave, so I bought him this as a Christmas present. Even though it's not something that's 100% necessary, it was a funny little gift that is actually pretty practical. If you've ever made s'mores in the microwave before, you know that the marshmallow balloons out and you need to keep an eye on it as it "cooks." This little device stops that completely- you add water to the back part, which helps the marshmallow cook evenly, and the "hands" gently compress the s'more as it heats. Personally, after having s'mores made both with and without this little device, I think the marshmallows actually taste better after using the device since they are more evely heated. The chocolate tastes better too since it has more time to melt. Of course, you can save $7 and still make s'mores without it, but if you know someone who loves s'mores, it's a cute and inexpensive gift idea. Highly recommended!

The only reason I trusted that this would work is because the company Progressive makes it. I have the Progressive veg chopper and I love it (best one out there). I was a bit skeptical about this (my son just won a choc coin maker that did not begin to work!), but kids love smores and make a huge mess when they try roasting marshmallows with a skewer over my gas range(!) so I decided it is worth a try. This arrived and got my boys to do homework in a flash bec after homework came smores! This little product is fantastic! I cannot get over how the marshmallow and choc melt to perfection! we forgot the change the water as is mentioned multiple times in the manual and it overflowed. SO it is very imp to change the water after two uses. Highly recommended! This thing really works! It's quick, clean and easy....and of course delicious!

I would give this product 11/10 if I could because it is that good! I love it so much I bought a second one for my sister in law! So simple to use and honestly so much cleaner! Perfect for kiddos! All you do is prepare your s’more and pop it into the microwave for 35 seconds (the box says 30 which works as well I just like my marshmallow a little more flat) and BAM a perfect s’more every time! Treat yourself!
