This was the first attempt at spinning hemp fiber and it was much easier than expected. Picture is of two ply twine made today. Great quality and fun to spin!

It is indeed hemp fiber, but I was hoping I could needle felt with it as an alternative to wool. I found it too hard to use, but may be good for other uses.
