Best blade 5 stars. Used all of them over the years but this one just last and lasts !! Through everything concrete reinforced with Rebar, not a problem for this blade.

Been doing a fair few chases, some deep, some shallow, done probably around 40 odd metres thus far, disc performs as new. Material is pretty old stout concrete, the heavy 'stone' concrete. The trick to keeping these discs 'alive', is down to letting the disc drive for you and not force the cut, get the depth you want by letting it sink down by itself to the required depth and then maintain that cut as you let it pull you forward. At all costs avoid angling the cut, keep it at 90 degrees as close as possible and then disc will give you plenty smiles for a while to come. Quite a few pro's also buy these, it's not the tool that is the magic, it is the combination of a brain operating the tool, mechanical sympathy, a good understanding of physics including sound knowledge of friction based cutting materials - all comes together in the end. Then again, one can ignore all the above and just use and abuse and buy as many discs as one needs, the disc is great for 'bish bang bong' types and also those pro's and DIY'ers who embrace finesse and thought with a dash of patience.

Evolution blades are great. Trimmed some excess concrete on my greenhouse slab as I got one measurement slightly wrong. Cut the 100mm slab like butter and when I cleared up, discovered it had cut the steel rebar reinforcing as well without missing a beat. Well worth the money.
