Work according to specs
After building a test circuit that will become a fixture, it was determined that these IC's adhere to the datasheet's specs.

Not one chip was functional. Don't buy.
I used this in a build, thomas henry mps, and not all aspects of the MPS functioned. After trouble shooting, I thought the xr2206 might be bad so I swapped it out. Still no function. I tested every aspect of the circuit and could find no other problems so I swapped out the xr2206 for another one, trying all 5 chips I bought. No go. I then used a 2206 chip from a signal generator I had and everything worked. I then tried every chip in the signal generator and not one worked besides the original chip. I can only conclude that the chips are faulty and worthless. Don't buy.
