This Makita drill and screwdriver bit set is fantastic and great quality as you’d expect from a brand like Makita.It really does have everything that you could possibly need. It has a full range of wood, metal and masonry drill bits. It also has several of each of the main sizes so that if your drill bit gets blunt or breaks, you won’t be left stranded, you just select another drill of the same size. This is the same for the screwdriver bits, there’s multiple of the same type of screwdriver bit so when they inevitably get worn, you can just put a new one in.The kit even has a range of hole saws, a mini tape measure, a spirit level, a pencil, a range of sockets, a standard screwdriver and a T-bar screwdriver.It really is the only kit that you’ll ever need. I’ve got two grown-up ‘kids’ with their own places who always seem to have a list of DIY jobs for me to do. I only have to grab this kit and my cordless drill and I’ve got pretty much everything that I need for most everyday DIY tasks.

We have been really happy with this kit. All the screwdriver bits, drill bits and measuring and marking tools we needed neatly contained in one place. We had to remove a kitchen to replace the floor and somehow in kitchens they seem to use every size and type of screw available, so rather than having a toolbag full of screwdrivers this kit really had all. Obviously the spirit level is a bit flimsy and short but it is better than none, we didn't use the holesaws, but I don't think they will hold up on any hardwood.One gripe: the screwdriver handles and bits are not magnitised and so the bits do fall out occasionally.

Best set of drills I’ve bought yet. The case is strong and everything you need is there, even a long pencil which got me out of a situation

This is an amazing piece of kit which is used all the time. It contains almost everything you need for general usage and I like the inclusion of the screw driver and hand driver for when I can’t be bothered to find my electric one. Things like the spirit level are a big help too.My only quip is I wish it had a place for my jigsaw bits. However, I put them into between others.Drilling, screwing and measuring? This is for you
