I purchased this after having used 3 other products about my plantar faciatis. I have been in pain since last January and inexplicably I just woke up one morning and was in excruciating pain. Long story short it took me a long time to understand what it even was. Stretching on it's own did not help and I wasn't about to have shots or surgery!!! The clunky very sturdy boot with a ton of straps was not only hard to put on but hard to sleep in. The futuro one while very well made and soft all around kept sliding and not flexing enough.And an other one I used Dorsal something looked like the Futuro but was less well made and kept rubbing on the top part of my ankle. One thing all those 3 didn't have and this awesome product has is that extra flex of the big toe!!! Who knew. I have been an athlete in all my teenage years and I knew all about stretching and its importance,so this powerful sock is it. While it may seem uncomfortable to keep your feet so flexed and the toe up but you can move your toes in it and curl them if you feel a numbness there. The Velcros need some fiddling with and perhaps cut them to size if you wish. By keeping the big toe up you get maximum flex and the muscle gets bigger giving you ample room to heal.I have wore it for 5 nights and i see serious improvement after all these months thinking I would have to live with this pain. I also must add that I used it during the day also If I knew I would watch a show on tv and I would be stationary for a couple of hours That way i gave it more flex time than just the sleep time. Today 6 days or so later I have hope of full recovery.

This is wonderful. The first night wearing this was painful but each night got better and better. without this, my foot just lays in a pointed out direction not allowing any proper stretch.

I haven't used this for long, but it hurts my big toe when I do. I've tried adjusting the toes but haven't found a comfortable stretch yet. I'm seeing a physical therapist about my plantar fasciitis soon and maybe they can help me with the proper adjustment. The calf is a bit tight, but I think it'll become more comfortable with time. The quality of the product is fine---it seems well made and should hold up over time. It does seem to help the pain that I get when I first get out of bed, so I hope I can get the toe issue resolved.

Easy to use, seems to be working after only two days.

This sock did not work out for two reasons: 1) It started falling apart after three (3!) nights of wearing it. In that time, about half of the the stitching came out where the strap attaches to the toe of the sock. One more night, and it was almost all out. I did some sewing and reinforcing with heavy thread. I only wore the sock to sleep in, and I'm not one to thrash about during sleep or do anything else that would put unusual strain on that seam, so I can only imagine it was poorly sewn in the first place. The way the sock works, that seam does take a lot of stress, so it needs to be a heavily reinforced seam, which it was not. 2) It isn't comfortable and actually caused temporary injury to my foot. In theory, the strap pulls up on the front of the foot and keeps your foot perpendicular (or at whatever angle you choose) to your leg. But in reality, the strap pulls up on your toes first and foremost and they flex at the joint. Your foot does end up more or less at the angle you want, which feels great, but I found the strain on my toe bones and ligaments, and a little too much stretch on the bottoms of my toes, to be too much. It caused some discomfort before sleep every night, I woke up in pain in the middle of the night on at least one occasion, and the day that I experienced shooting pain through my toes and upper foot in the middle the day -- hours after taking the sock off -- that was the day I quit. I really wanted this sock to work. The sock itself is really comfortable and soft and breaths well. (Oh, except for the strap that goes around your leg at the top which dug into my skin.) But it needs a redesign so that the ankle is the only joint getting engaged. If the strap could somehow pull up from the ball of the foot, so that the toes can just lie naturally, that might do it. Or if you kept the strap at the toe but inserted a hard solid surface under the entire foot that prevented the toes from being engaged, that could work. Oh well; maybe in the future.

The splint works for helping to stretch the Achilles and help with plantar fasciitis. The calf part of the sock is very tight. I have normal claves and got the regular and I thought it was very tight. I just got used to it though. I’m not sure if I’d order the larger size because I’d be afraid it would slip/fall down or not be as snug when wearing.

I purchased this item on June 7, 2022, along with an orthotic to insert like was recommended by a few other reviewers. I received it on June 9, 2022 and started wearing it that evening. The orthotic is definitely needed to keep your toes from being smashed and pulled to the side. The orthotic insert gave a little heel support, but not enough. the sock and the orthotic does not give enough compression for the foot though. The big problem that I have is that the sock is either not long enough to pull completely over my knee to go around my thigh (probably would be preferable) or too long that it comes half way up my knee, which is painful when the velco digs in. I even tried it without using the velcro strap going around, but it didn't stay put at all. I am short at 5'3", so this more than likely is the problem, as most items are made for 5'5" people and up. It also ends up being slowly pulled down towards my foot during the night and really digs into my leg. Picture attached of the painful marks left when I take it off in the morning. This sliding over night also doesn't keep my foot pulled in the optimal stretch all night. It also lets my foot go slack to the side, so absolutely no ankle support. The sock is comfortable enough to be able to sleep compared to a boot with a wedge for the ball of the foot that makes my foot go numb. I didn't wake with a sweaty foot, so there was enough ventilation for me, but my extremities do tend to be colder. There is absolutely no ankle support to keep your foot in a rigid stable position. This had treated my plantar faciitis, but has done nothing to help the achilles tendonitis that I also have, because of there not being any ankle support. I have been being treated by chiropractic care with massage to break up the fascia, but may need to move to cupping as the fascia seems to be really stuck with adhesions. I got this sock for my plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist gave me a boot & I hate it. This sock keeps your foot in the right position in your sleep & much easier to sleep in - but I'm a pretty sound sleeper. Also, insurance doesn't pay for the sock but pays for the boot. My podiatrist sells it for $40 but it was $10 less on Amazon (Amazon Prime) so no shipping too. I noticed an immediate difference the very first morning after I used it - my heel wasn't sore! This isn't an end-all though - continue with your stretches,exercises, massage, and shoe inserts.

This sock has helped me a great deal as I have been suffering with planter fasciitis for several months,also found the insole for shoes very comfortable I can now walk quite a bit more

Don't know if it the injury or the item but when wearing this i get woken up in the night with awful pain in my leg. Item appears to really keep it too rigid so you don't get too relaxed. It didn't fix my leg issue. I would not recommend.

I really like it but sometimes it doesn’t work well for me because it slips and stretch’s the sock instead of foot.

les velcros sont beaucoup trop longs. Ils se melangent tout le temps ensemble en plus de coller sur le materiel du bas. De plus la traction se fait complement au bout des orteils. C'est tres inconfortable. Je l'ai acheté pour une tendinite des tendons d'achille. Pour cette usage, ca ne soulage pas la douleur, mais en crée de nouvelles aux orteils, et ce malgre les 4 alterations que j'ai fait au produit. C'est legerement mieux maintenant, mais ce n'est plus du tout le produit qu'ils m'ont vendu.

JE n'ai pas de gros mollets alors ça se tient un peu moins bien que prévu mais sinon, c'est une bon produit
