It's a small, flimsy tin with 20 plastic full pans that can be had for a couple of dollars. Disappointed.

I love this palette! It’s so cute and holds both self-made tube half pans as well as the pre-made half pans from my W&N professional series. It comes with a piece of black foam to help stop shifting, all of the pans are standard plastic (no paints included), magnets are 3M brand and there are 10 extra magnets. Magnets hold well and are easy to apply to the pans. Replacement pans and magnets are available here on Amazon. NOTE: I made my own color sample sheet from watercolor paper and it fits perfectly, but it is from my own paints and NOT included in the order.

Exactly what I wanted to have both warm and cool colors available in half pans, but separated and organized.

I got the Starry Night palette with 20 pans. The magnets stick well to the bottom of each plastic pan, and the pans stay in place if you turn the palette upside down. BUT, there were gaps along the edges when the pans were placed tightly, and it bothered my artistic sense. Here’s a HACK for that: There are white foam sheets on the top and bottom of the palette when it is shipped. Cut one of them into 4 long strips 1 cm (10 mm) in width. Cut two of them into half. Those 6 pieces fit perfectly, as shown in the photo. The pans will not budge no matter how enthusiastically you swipe your brush!
