A great idea and concept, but would love more sizes.
OK, the booklet IS short and there ARE only two different slipper patterns, with variations of either a bow or one of two slightly different flower decorations. Its still ENOUGH information to make slippers for friends/relatives/ gifts or to put on your guest's sleeping area, or even bring a few pair as a hostess gift. What I appreciated is that this author not only writes a warning that yarn slippers are slippery on hard surface floors, she includes a remedy to make your slippers 'non-skid.' A few years ago, I made KNIT slippers similiar to these (from a 1970's pattern) and several were permanently 'borrowed' by cold-toed visitors. So I know warm slippers are still desired. At least, since I crochet faster than I knit, I can now make more slippers as gifts, etc, and cut down on my yarn stash at the same time, or, 'kill 2 birds with one crochet hook.'What I would like is for this author to expand the instructions to include size ranges for infants, children and men. She only includes ladies size ranges in her patterns. Perhaps, even instructions for a slipper with an 'extension' to make the slipper go up the foot, like a bootie, even for adults, past the ankle bone, to help them stay on better and warm more of the foot for the winter. Instead of a crochet cord tie on the 2nd pattern, I prefer to use a length of cord elastic, and skip tying or re-tying the yarn cord.

Easy to follow instructions with my neat embellishments
Super easy instructions to follow and you can basically choose how you want to punish them off yourself. I added an edge to the opening of the top of the slipper and then a variety of flowers⦠following the instructions provided. The edging I added from another pattern. Really great!

Very odd book
I think there was a big mistake in putting my book together. Parts of it are repeated, as though whoever assembled this one grabbed parts of the book without making certain it was the right part. I *think* the whole book is in there somehow, but am going to have to work on that. I've made slippers before, so if anything is left out I can likely fill it in anyway, but I think it is likely all here. I hope so.Other people are complaining of it being only 10 pages long. I have more than that. But they are repeats of other pages in the book. Like I said what an odd book this is.I haven't tried to make the slippers yet, so after I do, I'll let you know how that goes. This is giving me a chuckle, so I think I might start making a pair today. Will let ya know how it all goes.

Loved it
It is very easy to read and it has pictures to demonstrate her work in making the slipper no sorry to finish the slippers where and how to sew the beginning or ending or both sides of the slipperπππ

... think you can achieve things quickly only to be disappointed because the instructions are either written in gobbledegook or
I've bought books before that give timelines and make you think you can achieve things quickly only to be disappointed because the instructions are either written in gobbledegook or poorly explained and you end up needing specialist knowledge and years of interpretation experience ; and you still end up with something that looks nothing like the picture. This little booklet gives clear instructions on how to make two different types of slipper and, although the first time I tried it, it took closer to 3 1/2 hours at least the end product matched the picture. OK, so the style may seem a bit old fashioned but these slippers are great to make/ wear when travelling long distances or for curling up on the sofa in. I've made a few pairs now and if I forget to pack one pair, I can always make another.

Slipper patterns
Have made a number of slippers from this book. The patterns themselves are good. Was disappointed with the quality of the actual book, soft oloured paperback, however the patterns themselves are black and white photocopies! I collect patterns books, was very disappointed with the quality of this one,

Easy Peasy
Being completely new to crocheting, I wanted something quick and easy to start with. These slippers are beautiful and very easy to make. A word of advice though - they need to look small as the stitch is a kind of rib which stretches to fit! Believe the pattern!!!!! I made one pair for my granddaughter in pink and purple with sequins on - she wanted to look like a princess - and another for my grandson - plain and chunky. The pattern is adaptable for both male and female. Just a bit disappointed it's only the one pattern with different embellishments, and the postage cost more than the book.

2 Hour Slippers
From the looks of the book I assumed there were at least 4 patterns but there is only ONE pattern and its made to look different by the alternative finishes. So long as you are clear this is basically ONE pattern and you believe the price justifies it then fine. The one pattern is fairly easy to follow - but nothing you can't find similarly on the web for free.

An easy book to follow
I enjoy being creative, especially making gifts for friends or family. Easy to Crochet 2 hour Slippers was an easy book to follow and I'm looking forward to creating my first pair. In my opinion the book has cute slippers that will make great gifts. I found it easy to follow with clear, precise instructions.
