Can you run the ethernet port to another switch or is it strictly for management purposes?

can I use this as two 2.5gb aggregation for my nas and connect to my desktop with 5gb ethernet port?

Anyone try connecting a 10g RJ45 transceiver in one of these sfp ports? I'd love to convert 10g fiber to 10g copper ethernet.

I run this switch with three (3)10G RJ45 transceivers (10Gtek for Cisco SFP-10G-T-S Compatible 10GBase-T SFP+ 10 Gigabit RJ45 Copper Transceiver 30-Meter) and one (1) DAC cable (10Gtek 10G SFP+ DAC Cable - 10GBASE-CU Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax SFP Cable for Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU3M, Ubiquiti, D-Link, Supermicro, Netgear, Mikrotik, ZTE Devices, 3m. Works like a champ.

Can i use regular cat7 rj45 cables in the sfp+ to achieve 10gbe speeds, or do i need to use a different cable?

When using RJ45 sfp+ modules, you do not need Cat7 (not technically a US standard anyway). Cat 6a must be able to carry 10mbit for at least 100M. Cat 6 has to be able to do at least 55M, longer than any most any home or small business run is going to be. Cat 5e, while not officially rated, will generally work fine for 10gbit over the length of runs used in homes.

Can I use this as 1 fiber uplink to data center then the other 3 fiber ports to different buildings and the copper to connect to another switch?

Yes. Just think of it as a switch. All 5 ports are on the same network. I have 2 installed essentially as you described.

Arrivato e montato, bisogna collegare il cavo di rete e colllegarlo a un pc su rete 192.168.88.x , con il browser si accede alla pagina di configurazione 192.168.88.1, per iniziare basta assegnare all'interfaccia di gestione un IP della propria rete o usare il DHCP passo successivo update firmware, fa il download installa e riavvia con nuovo IP. Provato con SFP+ 10Gtek AXS85-192-M3-Cisco2 sul MkroTik e Scheda 10G Intel X520 e SFP+ Ipolex AXS85-192-M3-Intel, collegamento 10G senza problemi. Temperatura in funzionamento 38° (scalda come Cisco)
