For the times I actually need a nice pair these worked . The styling , comfort , and of course price was worth it . I just wish I had gotten a size up , but do plan on getting another pair

Ordinarily I wear a mens size 12 (wide with) or 12 EEE. But with these shoes, a straight 12 worked perfectly. Out of the box, I couldn't understand the lacing it came with: instead of an alternating plan of inserting the laces, the manufacter opted for a way that all the laces were in the same parallel with a single lace. To be honest, it appeared at first that these shoes would be to tight. But after the disassembly of the laces and relacing them the "right" way with the cross members being on the outside of the tongue, there was more room inside the shoe and the laces after proper lacing, were long enough for a proper knot, that can be easily untied. This would be considered INMHO, a dressy casual. I will be joyfully wearing these on a cruiseship next week during those times when one does not want to be too dressy, yet dressy casual that would work with a suit or sport coat, with or without a tie. They feel like a sneaker, with the appropriate air of dressy or semi formal. I had no issue with the back of my heels that others have noted. I did notice a small squeak with I concluded was caused by the laces having a new coating of polish or something, but I believe that wiping the lace can take care of this. Bottom line: WELL DONE! All this with a great price point!

Stylish, comfortable, and well-made! Every man should have a pair of black casual shoes - these go great with a pair of black jeans or khakis - you can dress them up further with a suit as well but they are more casual than traditional dress shoes. The stitching is high quality, they’re very comfortable, and run true to size. They provide good support and my feet don’t get tired in them either. I wouldn’t wear these with a tux but for everything else I’d recommend them - and if you spray them with a protective sealant that’ll give them some longevity as well.

Definitely not an equal to Cole Haan, which is what I hoped for. These proudly proclaim China on the box and it’s what I expected. I wear dress shoes almost every day for work and I walk and do steps at lunch. I wanted a comfortable shoe that could do it all. I was recommended Cole Haan by a colleague. I didn’t want to pay that much though so I gave these a try. First impression is that they look kind of cheap. I had to remove the shoelaces as they were not put in correctly and redo that. Not a big deal. Comfort wise they feel good at first. The soles are extremely soft, but almost too soft. It’s a weird feeling walking in them because my heels have a tendency to wear the inside portion of the heel over time. I can feel it is exaggerated in these because the soles are so soft and I am not sure if that support would be good for me long term. The “leather” looks cheap and a coworker actually said they look like plastic. It’s not soft supple leather and it’s got a pleather appearance to them. Almost a faky orange brown. I also had a flashback to an old episode of Sponge Bob I watched years ago with my children when I wear them. They squeak because of the materials rubbing together. I still don’t know if I will keep them. This is day one. I also don’t know how long I should expect these to last. The stitching looks pretty decent. Day 2 - the back of my heel hurts after doing steps. the actual shoe part outside of the sole is not comfortable at all. Still squeaking like crazy. I will probably return them, but what a bummer after reading all the bot reviews. If you just want to buy these for occasional use I think you'll be satisfied, but not if you wear them daily like I do.

Working in a retail environment means being on my feet for hours on end, and I was after something that wouldn't leave me crippled by closing time but still looked professional. The faux leather upper has a decent, neat polish to it, certainly smarter than you’d expect for the price, and the lightweight feel was noticeable right away. I was also impressed with arch support and shock absorption for the enduring and busy shifts. Wearing these on the retail floor has been genuinely surprising. The combination of the arch support insole and the lightweight, flexible EVA outsole does a fantastic job of cutting down on foot fatigue. it’s honestly made a significant difference to my working week. The grip on the floor is also excellent, which I need as I'm moving quickly around the shop. What I really find a valuable feature is how easy they are to clean. a quick wipe down and the polished look is back. And while I love how they feel, I must mention that the lacing can be a bit fidgety. It sometimes takes a little more effort than it should to get a perfect, snug tie. However, that’s a small detail when set against the overall comfort and performance for such long periods of standing. My overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. These sneakers have more than met my needs for a shoe that's smart, comfortable, and practical for demanding work environments. Given the very reasonable price £19.99 (when I purchased), the value for money is truly exceptional since you're getting comfort comparable to far more expensive brands. I would highly recommend these sneakers to people who require a smart, presentable shoe but whose work involves extensive standing or walking. Hope you found this helpful.
