Great for factory upgrade on 07-13 Chevy truck non bose or bose system
OMG. For stock head unit on 2008 LS non bose Chevy Front speakers are midrange 4 ohm run off head unit. These have 20 percent more everything. 30 percent more clarity and paired with stock a pillar tweeters I left the treble tweeter button in out position. The tweeters are pointed up towards ears now that's cool and does help. I had to order separate Chevy 07-13 door brackets and these fit them perfect. Some companies baskets interfere these fit perfect in my after market brackets. I had to add the pigtail adapters as well and widen the crimps with a small screw driver but it's not hard. Great for replacing fronts my rears are 8 ohm sadly. But i would run these on as stock or after market system any day. These punch above their weight class in price and performance.

Great sound for the price.
I bought these for my 2007 Cobalt. The OEM speaker in the drivers door wasn't working at all, and the passenger was intermittent. I am running the OEM head unit, nothing special. It's not a Bose system or anything. These speakers are a pretty big improvement over stock. I even turned up the volume full blast and they sounded great. Even at full volume, there was no distortion, and they were plenty loud enough. They don't cost much more than an OEM replacement, and sound much better. Would highly recommend for a stock head unit. At the time of my purchase they were just under $70. which is down almost 40% from $120 just over a month ago. Not sure if this is a sale price or not, still well worth the money.
