SmartPool WWS421P Sunheater Solar Pool Heater for Above Ground Pools

Second one now defective. This time im getting a refund instead of a replacement. Its cheaply made and not very strong. Neither one has heated up the pool either.

This is my second one. We installed this on our garage roof and it warmed our 15’ round above ground to 80 degrees in a couple days. This should be taken down every winter. We didn’t do that with the first one and after the second winter, it leaked.

Just got this running on our 24 Ft round above ground pool. The water went from 70 degrees to 90 degrees in 5 days!! We are also using a solar cover on the top of the pool. The water coming out of the heater didn't seem very warm and we were a little skeptical about how well it would work at first. But after 5 days, we were really surprised how much at warmed our pool. We built a mounting rack, and plumbed them about 60 feet from the pool with 1 1/2" PVC. We plumbed it a little different than the instructions. Used a T fitting on the water line between the filter and the return line, and installed a valve to control input flow to the heater. Then had the return line from the heater with it's own return line back to the pool. We just plumbed PVC pipe to go over the top rail and it returned heated water to the pool under the deck that hangs over one side of the pool. This way we can turn off flow to the heater on cold days when the filter needs to be running. They will need to be mounted to something!! They are 2 feet by 20 feet of plastic that comes in a roll. The picture shows them mounted to a rack with a mounting kit (neither are included) Pretty flimsy out of the box. But with several trips to home depot, we made our own rack and mounting kit. And lots of extra plumbing supplies were needed for out setup. So there will be additional cost to get this setup and running. But I am very happy with the performance of it now that we got it going. But overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this Solar Pool Heater

Der Grundgedanke die kostenlose Energie der Sonne zu nutzen ist gut, funktioniert mit dem Produkt leider nur bedingt. 1.) Die angegebene Fläche von 80qm passt nicht. Die Fläche beträgt lediglich 6,2 qm. 2.) Die „Heizmatten“ werden aufgerollt in einem Karton versandt und lassen sich zur Montage kaum ausrollen, da sie immer in den gerollten Ursprungszustand zurück wollen. 3.) Für die Montage gemäß Produktbeschreibung wird zusätzliches Montagematerial benötigt, welches nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Fazit: Mit ein paar Dachlatten und gebastel konnte die Heizung montiert werden. Dies hat jedoch überhaupt nichts mit den Fotos der Produktbeschreibung gemeinsam. Bei Sonneneinstrahlung funktioniert die Heizung gut. Ich würde das Produkt nicht nochmal kaufen.

Le doy 10 estrellas magnífico producto. Colienta hasta 2000 a 2500 litros de agua. Para una alberca de 3 x 2 mts de 70 cm. Sube la temperatura entre 10 a 15 grados en días de sol y de 8 a 12 en nublados. Fácil de instalar, usar y funcional. Se tiene que comprar algunos empaques para instalarla , la coloque en la azotea de mi casa.

We did not receive set up instructions with the heater. Absolutely no idea how to do it!
