Inkbird Humidity Controller IHC200 Humidistat for Mushroom Greenhouse

I run this with both dehumidifier and humidifier connected to keep humidity in range, works well.

I had my Inkbird Humidity Controller in my mushroom monotub for several months and it controlled the humidity very well. One day, while under warranty, it stopped shutting the humidifier off when it passed the desired level. After a few emails to trouble shoot the problem Inkbird sent me a new controller.

The item is good, but their customer service is outstanding. They were very kind, helpful, and professional.

I had to purchase this because the Waykar 80 pint humidifier that i purchased works except for the junk humidistat that they use. The piece of junk won't turn off and is running up my electric bill. I contacted the company and they were willing to send me a replacement humidistat and then a replacement unit but the reviews are all poor concerning the humidistat. This was easy to set up and when I connected it to my Trash Waykar humidifier, the sensor read 58 on the display, but the humidifier was showing 73, which explains why the Waykar 80 pint humidifier will Never Turn off. If you own a problem humidifier that won't turn off like I do, then order this and let it control the humidifier versus buying another new one. I took off one star because the instructions sent with this are Not very clear and you need a magnifying glass to read it. Luckily there are videos available on YouTube that show you what each setting means and how to quickly program this controller.

My used Frigidaire dehumidifier kept short-cycling in my basement, turning on and off every 30 seconds due to a bad internal sensor. Plugging it into the Inkbird IHC-200 completely solved the problem.

Works great. I have it hooked to a dehumidifier in my basement. The dehumidifier is set to the lowest setting so the controller will turn it on and off. ie... the controller will turn the unit on/off and the unit will not stop it because of the dehumidifier settings. It is was hard to figure things out. But I wrote on the instructions on what the setting is. It keeps the setting even if the power is lost. I used different Inkbird at my parent's home for a light bulb attached to it under a sink so it would turn on/off and keep things from freezing - That is not this controller. Well worth the money.

I wanted to replace my old humidifier. I like how the new ones work, and I bought a well-reviewed one with WiFi. The humidifier worked great, and the software was easy to use. Then, I discovered that it only maintains the humidity in a 10% range, along with other disturbing "features." I exchanged it for one that doesn't measure the humidity at all 8-( The Inkbird did exactly what the digital humidifier should have done. It allows me to set the target humidity and range below (and above, it also works with dehumidifiers,) and it also allows alarms for high/low humidity and even calibration. Everything is tenths of a percent, and the sensor actually seems to be that accurate. Most of all, it works perfectly!

Great for controlling your environment. Once dialed in it does what it is supposed to do! I use to control my humidifier to the exact humidity that I want to maintain.

Using it to control a humidifier in a humidor. It's working flawlessly. The humidity sensor is super sensitive. Unlike analogue gauge, when I open the cabinet I see the humidity escaping in real time. And when I close it and the humidifier goes on I see it slowly climb to level. Amazing product. Can also attach a dehumidifier on plug b and if humidity goes too high it will start reducing it. Pro level stuff

It works like it should if you are hooking up a humidifier and dehumidifier that is analog digital, if its analog digital it won't work properly as it will turn off the humidifier and dehumidifier but the 2 units won't turn on again, the 2 units must have a on / off switch that if the power goes out and comes back on then either units turn on property hence the mechanical switch 😉
