I've used this for car parts and made sure it was large enough for a carburetor. It takes a while to heat up the water inside, but once it's hot and you put items in, it works well. The noise is typical for an ultrasonic cleaner. I keep it in my garage/shop and leave the area while it's working. It's not loud enough to wake up the neighborhood, but you don't want to be in the same room with it for too long. Clean up is easy and I don't see any evidence of corrosion/damage so far.

I was skeptical buying this ultrasonic tank for about $400. Considering the made in the USA tanks run easily in the thousands. I envisioned plugging it in and it just smoking, like some cheap electronic items from China. But the point was moot. I could scrape together $400, but not $4k, so if i wanted a tank big enough to clean a cylinder head, I'd have to get this one or nothing. This tank is just right. The heat works fine, the ultrasonic elements work fine, the timer works fine, the drain valve works fine. It just works. This tank has acquitted itself nicely. Cleaning auto parts while working on cars is automated in my shop now. Covers, brackets, fasteners, heads, pistons, connecting rods, crankshafts, whatever fits gets cleaned to the max. I get my work done faster and don't need a hired gofer in the shop.

Worked good the first three times until it blew a fuse in the circuit board. I had the fuse replaced and now it sounds very weak and has zero cleaning power. It’s under a year old and I can’t get ahold of the company because there mailboxes are full. Total waste !!

I used this machine 3x before the motherboard went out. The company sent me a new motherboard to replace and that ended up not resolving the issue, but they did send out a new unit once that was found to not be the problem. Very helpful throughout the entire process.

I plugged the unit in, poured a gallon of Simple Green Pro HD in, and filled the rest of the tank with water. I degassed the solution for a 20min cycle, but I don't think that was enough. I excitedly loaded my nitrided AR-15 BCG in the tank and turned it on. I had set the tank to heat to 60C when I first turned it on, but by the time I had run 3 20 minute cycles, it had only reached 53C. It takes a LONG TIME to heat, but I expected that - it holds 8 GALLONS. It's gonna take awhile to heat that much water. I believe that had I degassed the solution for an hour, it would have done fantastic the first 20 minute cycle, but it took 2 20 minute cycles to clean the bolt o my satisfaction. HOLY CRAP this thing is loud. Not like a gun shot loud... it's more like a school fire alarm loud. It's the pitch, not the volume. On the bright side, my BCG is immaculate. Keep in mind I have only used this unit once so far, but that is enough to impress me. I always considered ultrasonic cleaning more snake oil than anything, but this has changed my mind. Many reviews on here state that the unit lost power, but I have seen more than one youtube video showing that either the fuse or the switch failed - easy enough to replace those items at this price point. I will update my review if I have any issues I cannot solve.

I bought the large size so I could fit a large items in it and is quite adequate. It is a bit noisy, but that should be expected for what it is. The temperature takes a bit to come up but still comes up. The exterior finish looks nice in my shop. Bleep bloop a few buttons set it and forget it. Easy to use large size.

This tank works great, it cleans my carbs very well. Highly recommend.

I purchased the 30L model on Oct. 29 2016 and used in 1 time in Nov. 2016 with a little bit of trouble. I filled the unit with water and plugged it in and turned it on. The cleaner made a buzzing noise which I assumed was normal, but after about a minute, the unit just lost power and quit. There were no lights illuminated at all and it would not do anything. I thought maybe a circuit breaker in the house ad tripped, but not so. There was still power at that outlet. After about 5 minutes, I plugged it in to a different outlet on a different circuit and the unit started up normally. I proceeded to clean 3 carburetors and the unit worked great. I thought the first attempt was just a quirk. But today, Jan 5, 2017, I went to use the cleaner again and a very familiar problem....NO Power! I checked the outlet and it had good power, but the unit would not do anything. I tried other circuits and no power at the unit. The cleaner will not do anything at all. This unit should work for years NOT JUST Once !

Great bit of kit but make sure you use chemicals designed for an ultrasonic cleaner, normal chemicals don’t work anywhere near as well.

I have tried it on some small things and works.

Very good cleaner but when it’s running the solution is very warm regardless of temp setting even with heater off the solution is steaming when the lid is removed after 30 mins cleaning. the seller was contacted and said this is normal the previous cleaner I had never did this

I only bought the machine in April, and now it stopped working completely. The screen is not working at all, and the machine is completely dead. I have contacted the seller to request a refund but I do not think they will respond
