Move the heat
while it's not a TON of air, the bit it provides means you 30K BTUs are going to good use.

Completes your heater, for a small fee, and a barely perceivable benefit. Tricky install.
I'm a completionist. If I open a device and find an unused bunch of solder pads on the PCB, I dream of soldering something to it and getting an extra feature, so to find out Mr Heater took all of the fans out of their appliances and that I can add it back to mine, I had to do it. I saw people saying it gets its air from the back, where there is no room, but mine is on legs so that's not true. I saw a video of someone unscrewing a cover plate to expose the port this fan screw into, but that's also not true, for my model, since that port was covered with a tack welded steel plate, and I had to knock that plate out with a hammer to install the fan. The fan came with a temperature sensor to screw into a steel plate in the fan, and that was very difficult, because to line up the sensor with its hole, and get its screws into its screw holes without bending any of the thin sheet metal took a lot of patience. You will never be able to do any of that without taking the whole front off the unit, and then putting the front back on was a pain in the ass, since the metal kept deforming, so tabs weren't lining up. I finally got it all back together and, unlike what so many people said, the Auto feature works great. So what is this fan? Does it cool the inside of the unit or does it push air around the room? It does suck air in the unit, but it has a steel duct to lead that air straight out the front, so almost none of that cold air ends up in the unit. After 30 minutes on high, my unit was too hit to pick up from the sides, and hot enough that I would worry about it melting something that touches it. I kept checking the screw-attached safety label, which is plastic, to see if that had melted; it hadn't. Since the unit isn't staying cool, does the fan move air around the room? It does dump out about as much air as a computer's power supply, right into the path of rising heat at the top of the unit, but it does that ONLY on the left side (while facing the front of the unit - the side it's installed on) so if this is helping mix the super hot air with some cool air, it isn't doing it on both sides, which is stupid. Why doesn't that duct connect toa widener on the inside that goes across the whole unit? In summary, it's a rough install, it does work as advertised and it's nice that all of the screws it uses match the other ones the case uses. If the unit was meant to have it, I think everyone should have it, but I can't tell you it does a good job of cooling the unit. It surely adding some cool air to the hot air the unit makes, but if it adds enough to matter, or if it mixes that air well is still a question. It's too bad Mr. Buddy engineers don't come on here and explain the reason the fan ports air from back to front, skipping the inside, and why it's only spraying air out one side.

Nice Fan
Works well, as expected, nice quality, & not too noisy. We have it installed outside & although it's kept covered & out of the elements, it's holding up very well!! A+ A+ product!

Easy instal
Simple to install. There is some noise but not enough to wash out the TV, easily blends into the background for me. The fanmakes a big difference warming up the area. Last year we had a box fan in front of the heater, this way better. Would buy again if I ever get another heater.

This is working good so far.
Seems to be holding up pretty so far. I like it because it dissipates heat quicker and allows the heater to run more often.

Too much and too little.
Too much noise and too little air movement. You can easily do without.

Ruido extremadamente alto. No funciona la opción automática, nunca se apaga solo.
